Basketball pro Paige Bueckers works hard on and off the court, as part of the UConn Huskies of the Big East Conference. “Blessed from the 612 to the 860 – my PE of the Nike GT Hustle 3 will be available on December 7. From the PB Bucket design to the text bubble from my dad to the colorway, every part of this shoe aligns with the player and person I am. Can’t wait for you to check it out,” she said on Instagram on a slideshow of photos. Here’s how Paige stays in incredible shape.

She follows her dream

She’s proud and grateful for the life she has and the career she’s built, getting to do what she loves. On a series of photos of her playing, she said “Living the dream, THANK YOU GOD🙏🏼,” on Instagram, taking a moment to appreciate that she’s achieved her dream life.

She does Pilates

Paige practices Pilates to build strength, and it definitely challenges her in a great way. “Pilates is the hardest form of workout that I do," Bueckers told ESPN. "Harder than lifting, harder than rehab, harder than on-court, harder than cardio,” she said in an interview with ESPN. According to Better Health, “the health benefits of Pilates include improved flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone, particularly of your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body), balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body, enhanced muscular control of your back and limbs, improved stabilisation of your spine, improved posture,” and more.

She’s open and confident

She invests in her self esteem and confidence, sharing her story along the way. “Helloooo fashion world 👋🏼 So blessed and grateful to @HighSnobiety for this opportunity to share a little bit of my story through a new fashion statement,” she said on Instagram.

She’s grateful

She is grateful for a great season and ready to set new goals to work towards. “A full season of healthy basketball, I am forever grateful. Extremely proud, but far from satisfied. A season of overcoming adversity, building character, faith, hope and strength. Against all odds, wouldn’t trade this team for the world. Still got a whole lot left to prove,” she said on Instagram.

She hydrates

She stays hydrated, working with and drinking Gatorade to stay energized for her next practice or game. “From fueling my first childhood sports moments to a dream come true. Blessed to officially become part of the Gatorade family⚡️🪣💃🏼 @gatorade,” she said on Instagram.
