2500 Calories a Day

Wilson famously lost over 60 pounds by exercising and following a healthy, nutritious diet. Because she is now in maintenance mode, it gives her a bit more leeway with her diet. "Nutritionally the only thing is, I do try to stay under 1,500 calories because again with my body type, if I want to lose weight in that week, I have to stay under 1,500 each day," she says. "Now I'm going into more of a maintenance phase so it might be more like 2,000, 2,500 because I do workout like a beast, so I can eat a bit more now that I've hit my goal weight."

Wilson enjoyed a very festive holiday season in Aspen, where she hit the slopes with friends. "@marcganzi is the BEST ski instructor/DJ in Aspen ❄️," she captioned an Instagram post. "We crushed Buttermilk (formally the run 4 years ago where I had to get rescued off the mountain because my boot cut off circulation to my foot…so I was very proud of myself for completing it!"

High Protein Diet

Wilson admits she isn't perfect when it comes to her diet, but she works at it. "Does this mean I eat healthy and clean every day? No, far from it," she says. "But I am prioritizing where I can. If I go out to a restaurant, I'll try the salmon, chicken breast. I don't eat much meat, that's why it was hard. I was mainly eating vegetarian. But now I really have to concentrate on it because my body just responds well to protein."

Realistic About Weight

Wilson refuses to obsess about gaining a few pounds here and there. "I just noticed I put on 3 kgs on my holiday. I'm at an amazing all-inclusive resort…I've lost all self-control," she said after a July 2022 vacation. "But, you know what? I can get up tomorrow, and go to the gym, and hydrate, and eat healthy, and love myself. It doesn't help to be hard on yourself but I know what it's like to feel guilty and not great after eating too much. But if you're like me just know YOU are more than just your weight, your weight doesn't define you, just try your best to be healthy and don't be so hard on yourself. Be the best version of you."

5

Prioritizing Health

Wilson emphasizes that her transformation was always about her health and happiness. "It isn't about a number on the scale," she says. "What I was doing was to improve my overall health and to improve my whole lifestyle to make me a happier, healthier person."
