5 Rare Beauty Makeup Products Selena Gomez Swears By

The founder of Rare Beauty shares her makeup secrets on the company's YouTube channel.

Many celebrities have makeup lines, but not all of them are created equal. One of the most successful is Selena Gomez’s line, rare Beauty, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. The products are sold in Sephora stores all over the world, and last year, the company was valued at $2 billion. Many stars use the products, especially founder, Selena. She makes several YouTube videos on the company’s channel detailing what products she uses to create her amazing makeup looks. Here are 5 of Rare Beauty’s products that are staples in Selena Gomez’s makeup bag.

In this YouTube video, Selena introduced her fans to the True To Myself Pressed Finishing Powder. She applies it to her under-eye area and around her lips. “It’s so pretty,” Selena says. “Most of our products and our packaging are really easy to use.” Sephora describes the product as, “A powder that does it all: blurs and smooths, reduces shine, and sets makeup with light, buildable coverage and a natural finish that stays true to you.” It’s also highly rated by users.

In this video, Selena used products from the “Soft Pinch Collection”, one of which was the Matte Bouncy Blush. “This one, which is a little bit of volumizer in it, is really beautiful because I like to add just a simple touch of it right under my eye,” Selena says. She used the “Happy” shade of the blush in the video.

In the first YouTube video, the first product Selena used was the Positive Light Under-Eye Brightener. “I’m gonna use my eye-brightener, just to pop in a little lightness,” she says, as she applied dots to her under-eye area. According to Sephora’s website, this is another of Rare’s highly rated products.

Rare Beauty also releases makeup brushes. One that Selena uses is the Liquid Touch Foundation Brush. In the previous YouTube video, she uses it to apply her Under Eye Brightener.

In this video, Selena took her followers through a spring makeup look. One of the products she uses is the Positive Light Silky Touch Highlighter. “I’m really, really, really excited about this one,” she says. “It’s so pretty, and it’s in the pebble form, which is one of my favorites. It’s so cute and gorgeous, I love this.” Selena applied the powder to her cheekbones, giving her a nice glow.
