5 Simple Habits That Keep Abigail Ratchford in Incredible Shape at 32

Abigail Ratchford’s amazing body has helped her become one of the most famous models on the internet. The 32-year-old, who boasts over 9.1 million followers on Instagram alone, attributes her measurement-defying body to a few simple habits. Here is everything she does to stay fit at 32.

She Follows 4 Diet Rules

Abigail swears that abiding by simple rules helps her stay in shape. “I can’t diet. That just doesn’t work for me,” she told New Beauty. “I started to be healthier by first cutting out soda. Then, I stopped eating after 7 p.m. Finally, I started really watching my portions so I was eating fewer calories every day. And water—lots and lots of water.”

She UsesMyFitnessPal

Abigail explains being accountable for what she eats is crucial. While it’s not “rocket science,” she does use the MyFitnessPal app to track her eating. “I’m the type of person who likes to eat what I want. The app can help anyone do that—you can still eat great food, you just eat less of it,” she added New Beauty.

Pilates

Abigail is a fan of Pilates. “Group workout classes are so big right now, but I always get nervous around other people in settings like that. I have to go at my own pace without a bunch of distractions so, for me, Pilates with a one-on-one instructor works best. It’s not cheap, but then you also aren’t tempted to skip,” she said She added to Men’s Fitness via Muscle & Fitness that the workout “keeps you long and lean” — and the Mayo Clinic agrees. They say it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Balanced Diet

“I love green juices and smoothies. Sometimes I’ll put some protein powder in the morning—I feel like the mix of vegetables, and vitamins and stuff that’s in them, really gives me a lot of energy in the morning. I love BBQ food—my ultimate cheat is a pulled pork sandwich, sweet potato fries, and macaroni and cheese from this great place in LA,” she told Men’s Fitness.

Strength Training

Ratchford also lifts weights. “Initially, I made the mistake that a lot of girls do and I was only doing cardio. I just really didn’t see too much change in my body. I’ve been listening to my girlfriends who are in great shape and they say you have to do weight training, you have to go in and do squats. That’s my new thing—I’ve been doing some resistance training, circuit training,” she told Men’s Fitness. The Mayo Clinic explains that strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

Develop strong bones

Manage your weight

Enhance your quality of life

Manage chronic conditions

Sharpen your thinking skills

All of you who support me mean the world, and the fact you took time out of your day to vote for me makes me beyond mushy!!” How does the reality star maintain her great figure? 1. She Used to Eat What She Wanted, When She Wanted

Prior to going on the Bachelor, Abbie didn’t really watch what she ate. “I kind of ate what I wanted, when I wanted,” she told Body + Soul. “Prior to going into the mansion, my diet was much worse than it is now.”

2. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

2022 TV Week Logie AwardsChris Hyde/Getty Images

Abbie does a lot of exercising, mixing up her workouts. “I work out six days a week with a mix of HIIT, yoga, Pilates and just going for a run,” she told Body + Soul.

3. This Is What She Eats in a Day

Vegan,Falafel,Wrap,With,Salsa,And,SaladShutterstock

Abbie starts off with a breakfast of yogurt with some frozen berries or pieces of fruit. Later in the morning she munches on corn thins with avocado spread. Then, for lunch she eats canned salmon with vegetables and a dash of rice. Dinner is usually a vegetarian patty or falafel wrap. If she has a sweet tooth she will have peanut butter with dates for dinner.

4. She Doesn’t Diet

“I don’t feel ashamed of how my body is,” Abbie said on her LiSTNR podcast, It’s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield “I’m not trying to lose weight.” She also pointed out that it is “fatphobic” to say that she looks better because she has lost weight. “In the last five or so years I have never intentionally gained or lost weight,” she revealed, adding that she’s not “doing a Kardashian and intentionally losing weight because of a trend,” but is sometimes too busy or stressed to eat. “I’m having a really hard time eating,” she admitted. “I’m having trouble finding time to eat, and then when I find time to eat I’m having a really hard time chewing food and a really hard time swallowing. I feel extremely nauseous when I eat food… It’s also stress.”

5. She Battled an Eating Disorder

Manning Cartell - Arrivals - Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2021Mark Metcalfe/Getty Images

“I did have definitely disordered eating and I had definite like, fatphobic thoughts that were ingrained in me by society and especially being a young woman in the early 2000’s,” Abbie added on her podcast. “I’ve worked so hard to not have those thoughts and I think I’m really proud of myself for genuinely not working out for how I look, not eating for how I look, genuinely enjoying food and genuinely being able to enjoy exercise and be more worried about whether I’m eating enough and what I’m eating and making sure I have the right nutrients.”

6. She Works Out When She Feels Like It

Abbie told Yahoo Lifestyle that she listens to her body and exercises when she feels like it. "I wake up and I would be like 'I feel like doing yoga right now' so I'll do yoga," she said. "Or I'm feeling a bit anxious, so I feel like going for a run – rather than 'I should run, to lose weight, to look better, to be more fit'."

Rachel Bilson is turning 40 later this month, and is celebrating her bikini body! The OC and Hart of Dixie star is currently vacationing in Hawaii, and shared a silly snap of herself in a bikini on her Instagram stories. How does the mother-of-one look nearly identical at 39 as she did two decades ago when she sky-rocketed to fame on the teen television show. Read on to see 6 ways Rachel Bilson stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. Dancing Is Her Go-To Cardio

rachel-bilson-1Rachel Bilson/Instagram

Even before having kids, Rachel has always maintained that dance is her favorite workout. But now that she has a mom, her workout “consists of having dance parties with my daughter. Any way to get moving I’ll take,” she recently told Health. "If you have a blast on the dance floor, an aerobics class that includes dance moves would be a good choice. If you're a social person, a gym or health club membership may be a good option for you. If you prefer to exercise alone or you find health clubs intimidating, fitness videos and exercises you can do at home may be best for you," says the Mayo Clinic.

2. Her Diet Is Super Healthy

“We really try to be creative and healthy in my household. We’re big fans of incorporating plant-based things into our life, and Planet Oat Milk has made that so easy. We love doing breakfast experiments with Planet Oat,” the actress told Parade. (She has posted ads for the brand, too.) She tries to keep dairy to a minimum. “It really helped my daughter’s skin clear up. She was having some eczema, and when we stopped dairy, it went away. So, that was a huge eye-opener for us just seeing how much your diet can basically control things that are happening with your body.” She added to Health that her daughter loves a lot of the same foods as she does. “I’m lucky that my daughter’s palette is pretty advanced. She loves sushi and edamame and everything like that. Avocado. And we share that love together, and it’s great.”

3. She Has an Unhealthy Cheat Food

Riverside,,California/united,States,-,05/07/2019:,Several,Bags,Of,Cheetos,Flamin'Shutterstock

Rachel allows herself to cheat on occasion. “My unhealthiest is when I binge on Flamin' Hot Cheetos, because it happens. I binge. I can admit it. I've actually gotten better this year. It got to the point where I was eating them so much that, like, you poop red every day! You're like, "OK, I don't know what's going through my body, but I probably should stop. There are problems," she told Health.

4. This Is Her Daily Self-Care Ritual

Christian Siriano Fall Winter 2020 NYFWJamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Rachel makes sure to take time for self-care. “Personally, it’s being able to take a bath at night after my daughter has gone to sleep and having that moment for myself,” she told Health. "Many people benefit from practices such as deep breathing, tai chi, yoga, meditation or being in nature. Set aside time for yourself. Get a massage, soak in a bubble bath, dance, listen to music, watch a comedy — whatever helps you relax," says the Mayo Clinic.

5. She Stays Active

In an interview with Forbes, Rachel revealed that she is a fan of outdoor activities. “For exercise, we walk everywhere and try to ride our bikes. I'm a big fan of doing active things. So, when we're at the beach, we are swimming and running," she said. "There are many activities you can enjoy close to home, whether you're visiting your favorite public, state or national park, or just spending time in your neighborhood," says the Mayo Clinic. "While various activities may not be possible during some seasons, there are many ways to be active outdoors throughout the year. Get moving with these low-risk outdoor activities during the COVID-19 pandemic:

  • Walking, running and hiking
  • Rollerblading and biking
  • Fishing and hunting
  • Golfing
  • Rock or ice climbing
  • Kayaking, canoeing, diving, boating or sailing
  • Skiing, including cross-country and downhill skiing
  • Ice skating
  • Snowboarding
  • Sledding
  • Snowshoeing
  • Fitness classes, held outside or virtually, that allow distance."

6. Confidence Is Key

“My mantra is it’s none of my business what other people think of me. It’s so important to stay true to yourself and be confident in the choices you make, and what you do for yourself, and feeling good about it,” Rachel told Health. “I feel that it’s important to me because I am setting an example for my daughter every day," she continued, explaining that "being so confident in yourself and being proud of yourself are so key as a woman.”

Abbey Clancy is throwing out some major tropical vibes. In her latest Instagram post, the 36-year-old mother-of-three flaunts her famous figure in a palm tree print swimsuit. In addition to lots of fire emojis, her followers unanimously agreed that she looked stunning in the swimwear. “Oh so beautiful,” wrote one. “Stunning. Wow,” commented another. Read on to see 9 ways Abbey Clancy stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Does Pilates

Abbey’s go-to workout is pilates. “I’m definitely not a runner, but I love doing Reformer Pilates and aerobic classes. Whenever I finish a session I always have more energy and my body feels really toned,” she told Health & Wellbeing. She even makes her pilates workouts social. “As everyone’s so busy, it can be hard to arrange a catch-up with my friends, so we often go to a Pilates class together and grab a healthy breakfast afterwards – it’s the perfect way to motivate each other and we squeeze in a gossip whilst working out,” she added. “There are always new exercises and fads that come and go, but I always end up going back to Pilates-based activities, because they give me everything my body needs.”

2. She Stays Active

Abbey maintains an active lifestyle. “I don’t work out a huge amount but I try to include exercise in my everyday life somehow and I’m lucky that I’ve got an active lifestyle,” she added. “I admit that genetically I am very fortunate (all of my family are tall and lean) but my body really enjoys a good workout.” One way she stays fit is taking long walks with her kids. “I’m up early with my daughter every day, we walk to school and then I’m busy working all day, sometimes into the evening.”

3. She Pays More Attention to Diet and Workout When She Has a Job

“I’m like every other woman and get insecure about my body from time to time – it’s only natural. Modeling swimwear and lingerie means that I’m on show in front of a lot of people, a lot of the time, so I need to be mindful of what I eat, otherwise, I won’t feel my best and it’ll show in the pictures. Because of that, I’m really conscious of training enough, looking after myself and making sure that I still keep a womanly shape with curves in all the right places,” she said. “If I know that I have a photoshoot or event coming up I make sure that I watch what I eat a bit more and take an extra class or two to give me a confidence boost.”

4. She Rides Horses

Abbey is an experienced equestrian. “I’ve always been a very active person and love to get up and be outside as much as possible,” she revealed. “There’s nothing better than riding my horse in the countryside – I can’t wait to get back in the saddle this summer.”

5. She Dances

Abbey maintains that when she went on the show Strictly Come Dancing her body changed dramatically.”We were training for seven hours a day, almost every day, so I did drop weight and became seriously toned, but I also lost my boobs, which I hated! It was great to see what my body could do but I missed having curves and a more womanly figure. It’s only when I look back at pictures from that time that I realize how different it looked, six-pack and all! I loved my time on the show so much that I didn’t realize it was also a really intense workout, which is the key to keep exercise interesting,” she said.

6. She Believes in Moderation

“My fitness mantra is to do something you enjoy but don’t push yourself too hard,” Abbey said. “It’s great to eat as healthily as possible and to give your body everything it needs but at the same time, try not to be too strict with yourself because you have to enjoy your life. If you want a piece of chocolate, don’t beat yourself up about it. And if that glass of wine on a Friday night makes you happy, drink up – everything in moderation.”

7. This Is What She Eats in a Day

Abbey has a “huge appetite” and has to eat first thing in the morning. “Today I’ve had muesli followed by poached eggs and smoked salmon but it’s usually toast, cereal or something hot,” she said. She also loves to cook. “I love to be in the kitchen and enjoy making hearty, home-cooked food for my family at mealtimes. My husband’s 6’7” and my brother (who lives with us) is 6’4”, so I’ve got these big, burly men in my house who need their plates to be piled high,” she continued. “I often make steak with a salad, jacket potatoes, fajitas, a massive fish pie or a big roast dinner on a Sunday. Being married to a footballer helps with my diet because he needs a lot of protein and the right nutrients to nourish his body, which rubs off on me.”

8. She Cheats

Abbey is all about the occasional cheat meal. “I have a real sweet tooth. I love cakes and biscuits with a cup of tea but I try to limit how often I have them,” she said. “When I indulge I usually go for a pizza at the weekend. I don’t have it every day but now and again I really fancy one and don’t hold back. If I deny myself anything it can put me in a really bad mood and I think about it all the more.”

9. She Drinks Green Juice

“I can’t start the day without making a green juice,” Abbey confessed. “I throw in any fruit, vegetables, nuts and super powders that I have in the fridge and I’ve noticed such a difference in my energy levels, my skin is really clear and my hair feels stronger. Without one I feel sluggish, tired and crave unhealthier foods, so I always make sure I’ve stocked up on healthy ingredients. I feel better knowing that I’ve had my vitamins and minerals for the day, so anything extra is a bonus.”

Bianca Bustamante is revving up her engine in 2025 – in her workout gear. In a new social media post, the racecar driver reveals she is taking “the next major step” in her physical journey as a race driver “and I’ve set the target high!” she says in a new Instagram post, filled with video clips of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym. “Never been more motivated in my life, it’s not physically easy for a girl in this sport, but I’m super excited to take on this new challenge and the next big step on my racing journey,” she added. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are her top lifestyle tips.

Lifting Weights

Bianca spends hours at the gym where she focuses on strength training along with endurance, cardio, reaction time, and reflexes. “You know, to be a driver, it’s a complete package. It takes strength. It takes mental fortitude. It takes reflexes, smart thinking, and survival skills,” she told MEGA Active. “Sometimes it's for the body, sometimes it's for the mind. Nothing more peaceful than early sessions,” she captioned an Instagram post of one of her sessions.

Double Down On Training

In her recent post, Bianca reveals that she working extra hard at the gym. “I’ve been working hard over the years to build a solid foundation, but in 2025, I’ll be working with @j_w_90 and I’m doubling down on my training. Increasing to two workouts a day not just on lifts but aerobic endurance, as well as a better focus on nutrition and rest, in order to raise the bar to compete in the higher formulas,” she said.

Fueling Your Body With Protein

Bianca makes sure to eat enough protein in order to build more muscle and stay as lean as possible to meet the weight requirement. “It’s been a really cool journey seeing my body develop and transform into this whole different person I never knew I could become,” she said. In her new post she added that she is meal prepping. “I’m soooo all in that im even learning how to cook & meal prep better than ever before,” she writes.

Taking Cold Plunges

As for recovery, cold plunging is part of Bianca’s training regime. Limited research supports the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increasing focus, improving sleep, and decreasing inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes post-sport recovery.

Working On Self-Esteem

Positive self-talk is also important. “Of course, I put a lot of pressure on myself, but in the end, I always tell myself that as long as I give my best and I learn from it, any mistake I make is valid,” Bianca explained. “I always try to repeat that to myself that I am valid. I’m here for a reason and there’s nothing I would rather do than be here.”

Brenda Perlaza is flaunting her fantastic figure in a tiny bikini. In a new social media post the influencer, who calls herself La Barbie Negra, looks flawless as she poses on the beach in a neon yellow swimsuit. “#viral,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Wow Wow,” one of her followers commented, while several others added fire emojis. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Jogging

Brenda enjoys jogging. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

Walking Her Dog

She also takes her dog on long walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Dancing

You can also find Brenda dancing to burn calories. Dancing is an excellent workout for many reasons. It builds strength and promotes flexibility, helps you lose weight, and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop or die from heart disease than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues

Swimming

Brenda spends a lot of time in her swimsuit so it isn’t surprising she loves to swim. According to the CDC, swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, multiple studies support the mental health benefits of swimming.

Hydration

Finally, Brenda hydrates, especially after a long workout or sun exposure. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Supports Animals

Romani has her own charity, Help Miami Cats. She talked about how she started this in the caption of this Instagram post. “❤️ Guys!!!! I have always loved cats and had many growing up. When I moved to Miami Beach I met a great calico named Chacha and learnt that cats were brought to the city by Mayor Lummus … against rodents. Cats rely on volunteers for their food and water and there’s a huge amount of them. There’s a city program to Spay and neuter with the wonderful @sobecats ladies and the feeding is made official by a City Sanctioned badge, yet new cats keep getting dumped daily sadly and there’s a never ending amount of work, emergencies and so on. I was on a feeding rotation but during the pandemic I was left alone caring for so many as people left town or couldn’t afford feeding anymore …I decided to start my own non profit @helpmiamicats . We feed close to 200 and when Batman got paralyzed took him and other special needs cats under my care … @stevensachs69 with the cat room and the amazing people involved devote their lives to these special souls … My life has changed a lot too … way less spare time, way more sweat and tears and lost the person I had by my side who had sadly other priorities … yet gained so much love from these lovely creatures !!! If you can please get involved in any way … follow @helpmiamicats , share, volunteer, adopt … donate … Only together we can make their world a better place !!! And yes … just me feeding the kitties and talking to them … 🤷🏻♀️👀😆❤️🙌”
