5 Ways F1 Ferrari Champion Lewis Hamilton Keeps His Body So Ripped

If you’re a fan of Formula 1 racing, then you know who Lewis Hamilton is. He’s a racer with Ferrari, and is one of the best out there. Just in his rookie season, he won four Grand Prix. In 2021, he became the first F1 driver to win 100 races. Since he’s an incredible racer, he has to keep himself in shape. Many wonder what Lewis Hamilton’s secrets to success are. Well, here are 5 of his diet and exercise tips.
He’s Vegan
Lewis is open about being a vegan. He says to Men’s Health that going plant-based has helped him in many ways. “I have more energy; I’m so much more productive. I wake up feeling way better, clearer in thought and fresher in my body. I recover quicker; I sleep better. My skin cleared up. I have fewer allergies. There are just so many impacts.”
He Loves Avocado
Lewis shared some of his go-to meals in his Men’s Health interview. The racer loves avocado, especially for breakfast. “I’ll get up and I’ll have avocado on toast in the morning, for example,” Lewis says. “Or if I’m cutting carbs, I’d have avocado and fruit in the morning and a smoothie.”
He Loves Smoothies
Lewis is a big smoothie drinker. He tells Men’s Health that he normally has them multiple times a day. “I always have smoothies. I love having various smoothies with plant-based protein. I generally have that probably two or three times a day because it’s super quick, super easy, put it in the blender and you can take it with you.”
He’s Driven
Many people wonder what makes Lewis so successful in the racing world. He tells Wired that he thinks its the drive he has. “I think what makes me the driver I am today, yes it’s the ability, but I would say it’s the hunger. I’m so grateful for it, man. If we didn’t have that struggle I couldn’t drive the way I do today.”
He Loves Nuts
Lewis tells Men’s Health that he is a snacker. However, he makes sure to pick healthy options, as opposed to things like potato chips and cookies. Lewis says that he loves snacking on nuts to give him a pick-me-up. “When I go to events always have a lot of nuts, protein bars and all those things. I’m generally snacking through the day.”
