90 Day Fiancé star Larissa Dos Santos Lima is enjoying the sun in her backyard, no vacation needed, and posting the selfies on her social media. Lima, 37, shared a picture of herself posing in a tiger-print bikini, against a background of green grass and trees. “Biggie Leo energy,” she captioned the post. Lima has gone through quite a transformation since her stint on the reality TLC show. Here’s how Lima lost weight, and why she got cosmetic surgery.

1. Low Carb, High Protein Diet


Lima follows a mostly low carb healthy diet. “I try to eat healthy, don’t eat a lot of carbs, the same stuff that everyone does to lose weight,” she says. “For breakfast, I eat two eggs, two pieces of lean ham, whole grain toast with a small amount of real butter. For lunch, lean turkey or ham on whole grain bread with avocado, lettuce and tomato. Dinner is an eight-ounce cut of New York strip steak or broiled eight-ounce chicken with a bowl of salad. I use lemon as a dressing. I also eat unlimited fruits and veggies as snacks.”

2. Weight Loss and Surgery

Lima lost 40 pounds and then got cosmetic surgery. “I started at 170 pounds,” she says. “Before COVID, I went to the gym with my boyfriend [Eric Nichols] four times a week, 60 minutes a day, doing various cardio, arm, leg and stomach workouts… Even though I was working out, I still was unhappy because I had a bulge in my belly. People can ask why get surgery if you can go to the gym, but there are some things you cannot get rid of.”

3. Back Workouts

Lima shares her workouts on social media. “A little of my back workout!!” she says. “I love backs because they give the illusion of a thin waist, of course with a lot of training and dedication. Sometimes I think I’ll never make it, but with dedication I’ll get there 🏋🏻 ♀️👇🏼 What’s your favorite workout?”

4. Weights and Running

Lima used to be a runner but lifts weights now too. “In Brazil I used to run every day 5 km in the past, never was a fan of lifting weights, (even though now I'm focused on going to the gym 3x + a week),” she says. “Today I ran 2.86 km but I'm feeling great to run because I love the outdoors. Are you an indoor or outdoor person?”

5. Fresh Start

Lima wanted to clear up any bad blood between herself and her former mother-in-law after her divorce from husband Colt Johnson. "A new year, a new decade is quickly approaching," she said in 2020. "While I have been working to better my mind, body, and spirit in 2019, I want 2020 to be the year or renewal and to cleanse all the bad energy from the past. There has been some very negative back and forth between myself and a former family member. This is something I do not want to do anymore. I don't want to fight with her, as it is all in the past."
