"I hid my weight pretty well but I wasn't fine, I was super unhappy, miserable and I was working out like an animal with no results," Moakler wrote. She said she was on hormones that made her gain weight and that, combined with an "unhappy relationship," made her feel unhealthy.

She "Fixed Her Muscles"

Moakler credited Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Leif Rogers with some help. "This was to fix my muscles which was probably the best thing I ever did in my life!! I am so grateful for him and his staff! And if you have had c sections or recti diastasis from babies look into it!" she wrote online.

She Worked Out With Weights

"I also started using @Bombshell_News workouts and conquered my fear of weights," Shanna has said. "Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones. By stressing your bones, strength training can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
  • Manage your weight. Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories.
  • Enhance your quality of life. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age," says the Mayo Clinic.

She Hits the Gym

"I'm going to have to hit gym hard because I'm going to eat soooooo much good food in the next couple days! #momscooking ⚓️," she wrote once. "Exercise can help prevent excess weight gain or help maintain weight loss. When you engage in physical activity, you burn calories. The more intense the activity, the more calories you burn," says the Mayo Clinic.

She Hired Experts

Shanna wrote that she hired David Alen Nutrition and that they "finally got the hormones out of my system and got me eating properly, he custom makes plans to your blood work!! It's epic!"
