She Lathers Herself Up in Sunscreen
Alejandra takes care of her skin, lathering herself up im sunscreen. "I take great care of myself with sunscreen, my hands, my face, my neck, everything," she said, according to Mamas Bellas.
She Doesn't Diet
"I don't go on diets, I believe that one has to have a different lifestyle, eating in different ways, that is, not eating less, but on the contrary, eating every three hours, eating more, but better," Alejandra said about her diet. She added that "many make the mistake of not eating anything and that is super wrong because the body believes that you are not going to eat so it retains more fat, to be able to feed itself and that is where one gets fat. The key is to eat every three hours and be healthier."
She Dances
"Dance is my base, I love it, it makes me happy, it connects me with my mind, body and spirit," Alejandra told Nueva Mujer. "I also support myself with strong training," she added. "Plus (I'm a bit of an extremist), I do 200 sit-ups every day." Dancing is a great workout for many reasons. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps you lose weight and even promotes cardiovascular function. A 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine determined that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues.
She Has Learned to Live with Cellulite
"Ugh… the damn cellulite. I think you have to learn to live with it and try to keep it at bay. I must admit that I have done all kinds of treatments. Now I am with lymphatic drainage massages," Alejandra told Nueva Mujer.
She Isn't Opposed to Going Under the Knife
Alejandra is a fan of plastic surgery procedures. "I think that used in a good way they are a great help. The point is that you have to set limits, or if you don't see unfortunate results that there is no turning back," she said.
