Faye Brookes is enjoying life as a married woman – in her swimsuit. In one of her latest posts, the newlywed Coronation Street star shows off her amazing body in bathing suit bottoms. "Smashing life as a wife," she captioned the Instagram photo. How does the actress keep herself so fit? Here are some of her top lifestyle habits.
She Is "Health Conscious"
Fay told Express that she "doesn't diet," but she is very health conscious." She gets help planning her diet from her mom, who is a nutritionist. "It's in me to eat well," she said. Her guilty pleasure? "I love sweet and salty popcorn; if I go to the cinema that's my treat," she said.
She Runs
Faye loves to hit the pavement. "I like running. I was planning to do the London Marathon for Macmillan this year, but due to an injury I've had to defer my place to next year," she said. According to the Mayo Clinic, running is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. "For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories," they say.
She Indulges in Self-Care
Faye understands the importance of self-care. "I like to go to a spa from time to time. Sometimes I'll go with my mum; it's nice to have a bit of relaxation and catch-up time with her," she told Express.
She Trains
"I love to train, I love to keep fit and dance, I love to do different classes, shake it up, do a home workout, I'm up for anything," she told the Mirror. She is so devoted to fitness that she exercised all throughout her honeymoon in the Maldives. "Even during my honeymoon I find it essential to workout, it always makes me feel good. Loving the process, celebrating progress," she captioned a post.
She Snorkels
Faye also stays in shape on vacation by snorkeling. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.
She Does Pilates
