1

Eat Right

Sarah's approach to health starts with healthy eating. "Cutting major calories from one's diet begins by eating fresh vegetables and seasonal foods. Fruits and vegetables contain the perfect amount of nutrients required," she told India Today.

2

Exercise Daily

Sarah does a half an hour workout everyday. "When it comes to sculpting your body, the right diet will only take you so far. A mix of cardio and strength training is your best bet for improving strength, flexibility, endurance, and muscle tone – not to mention outward physical appearance," she says. How often should you work out? Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.

3

Eat Small, Frequent Meals

The smaller the meals, the merrier, maintains Sarah. "Smaller, more frequent meals will help increase your metabolism. Aim for three meals a day, with small snacks in between. Make sure you get lean protein, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats each time," she advises.

Use Apps

Sarah suggests using apps to lose weight. "Be it watching movies or shopping, we have applications installed in our phones to help us out. You can use applications to watch your weight and calorie intake in order to help you to attain body shape of your choice," she says.

5

Sleep

Sarah prioritizes rest. "Sleep for at least seven hours a day. It rejuvenates you," she says. What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z's is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.
