'90s Icon Natalie Imbruglia Shares Swimsuit Photo From Portofino
Natalie Imbruglia is red hot in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Torn singer flaunts her forever young figure in a red bathing suit while soaking up the sun with friends during an Italian vacation. "Magical few days in Portofino celebrating my dear friend @jacksavoretti Birthday!!! What a fab bunch of people ❤️ and Portofino is my new favourite place. Missing you all… and the sun and the sea… and the pasta!!" she captioned the Instagram post. "Hottie," commented one of her followers. "Stunning and the scenery isn't bad," added another. How does the 48-year-old maintain her fantastic physique? Celebwell rounded up some of her top health habits.
She Exercises
Natalie has trained with British celebrity personal trainer Matt Roberts. "He offers a mixture of cardio and resistance exercise three or four times a week for half an hour each time," she once said in an interview. "And that suits me fine."
She Eats a Reasonable Diet
In the same interview, Natalie revealed that she doesn't follow a restrictive diet. "The Matt Roberts fat-loss plan involves a diet high on wholemeal bread, pulses, oats and some fruit, and low on butter, pastries and citrus," she explained. "It's a diet you can easily follow all the time. I find I don't get a pent-up craving for other foods."
She Dances, Runs, and Stays Active
Natalie maintains that her active lifestyle, which includes going to the studio to cut albums and jumping around on stage, helps her stay in shape. "Some of my routines are as good as running around the block!"
She Walks on the Beach
Natalie feels the happiest, "By the ocean," she told The Times. You can often find her taking long walks on the beach. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.
She Is Spiritual
Natalie is a "very spiritual person," she told The Forty Five. "How much of this is destiny? Like, how much of this did I agree to before I was born, because I do believe in stuff like that. I do tend to think that that moment of 'Torn' and the connection with so many people around the world was an arrangement. But, the perfect orchestration leading up to that moment is the bit where you have free will and things can go different ways. I definitely was a powerful manifester when I was a kid, and I had a sense of purpose and destiny that that I lost through the school of hard knocks. I think it's a good lesson for anyone out there who reads this – that's a powerful thing to carry."
