She Does A Variety Of Exercises
In an interview with Fifty Four Magazine, Umeala talked about getting in shape for her role in The Woman King. She says that she did a lot of different exercises. "My pick-up was at 8am, so I would wake up between 6-7am. Because we filmed during Covid, every second day was testing. We had strength and conditioning for an hour at the beginning of the day. We would then travel to stunt training for three hours a day, then we'd break for lunch, and the next two hours would be choreography and dance rehearsals because there are quite a few dances in the film. We also ate according to a meal plan and were very healthy."
