She Was Bullied as a Kid
Yasmin was born a boy and raised Catholic alongside her half-sister by a Jamaican mother she lived in poverty and was the target of bullies. "Being a Black trans woman, I've been forced to grow up early," she told Vogue UK.

Yasmin wrote a "note to younger self" in an Instagram post. "Blooming into my own, one step at a time. From a shy 13 year old who doubted herself… to a confident individual who wears pink proudly and fearlessly. Believe in yourself, embrace your uniqueness, and let your journey unfold. She Wants to Be a Bond Girl
"I would love to be a trans Bond girl or just a Bond girl in general. I love James Bond," she told The Mirror. "Every time I watch a Bond film, I think I would love to be that cool, sexy Bond girl that has never been done before."
She Is Confident
"We all try things out, we all try and navigate ourselves and what we like to wear," Yasmin said, discussing her character with Elle. "I think confidence is from within, and I think you can really see that she's got all of that confidence within her now. I'm a very confident person as Yasmin."
She Swims
Yasmin loves swimming, a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
