Kown Eun-bi is heating up Hawaii in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the South Korean singer shows off her amazing body while on the beaches of Hawaii. Her Instagram followers went wild over the series of snaps. "To the people who just discovered her instgram account, this is the best body in Kpop industry, welcome," commented one. She Admitted to Once Extreme Dieting, Which She No Longer Does
During an episode of SBS's Strong Heart League (per AllKPop) Kwon opened up the extreme measures she took to lose weight earlier in her career. She revealed that she felt the need to lose weight to abide by society's beauty standards so she starved herself, only eating sliced apples for breakfast, with one apple slice consumed each hour. In total she would eat just three apples a day.
Healthy Meals
Now Kwon fills her diet with healthy meals, focusing on lean protein, whole grains, and vegetables. One of her favorite meals is salmon with barley rice.
Hydration
Kwon also hydrates, making sure to drink plenty of water. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
Pilates
Eun-bi has shared photos of herself doing pilates. According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it "strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health. It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Swimming
In her recent post from Hawaii Kwon included a video of herself swimming in a pool. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
