Madison LeCroy is taking an ice bath in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Southern Charm beauty shows off her amazing body while cold plunging. "Now play this sound on repeat pookie," she captioned the Instagram clip, which featured a voice saying, "Now remember, life rewards the woman who prioritizes herself." How does the star approach health and wellness? Here is everything you need to know about her diet, approach to exercise, and her other lifestyle habits.
Protein, Rice, and Salad
In the comments section one of Madison's followers asked her: "What do you eat everyday and what do you indulge in?! Lookin great lady!" She responded that "protein, salad, rice everyday," is her diet in a nutshell.
Boiled Eggs and Protein Shakes
As for breakfast, in a recent Instagram Story Madison reveals that she likes to pack in the protein. She has one boiled egg, half a tomato, detox tea with lemon, and an Atkins iced coffee protein shake.
Meat
Madison eats a lot of meat. However she opts for smaller pieces of meat paired with veggies and carbs. For lunch or dinner she might eat some whole grains, like brown rice mixed with quinoa, roasted broccoli, and a small piece of steak.
Exercise a Few Days a Week
Madison works out more days than she takes off "I try to work out at least four days a week, sometimes it's three days. It's all generally mental health for me, I crave it. I definitely feel that it makes me a little bit less on edge," she revealed to Bravo.
At-Home Workouts
Madison doesn't need workout equipment to get a good session in. In her Instagram Stories she does an at-home workout, using only a few weeks. Her exercises included plank knee ins, squats and side squats with weights, a few ab exercises, squat to knee up, russian twists.
Golf
Madison also enjoys golf. She recently took a trip to Palmetto Bluffs and worked on her game. "What a great surprise & a much needed staycation," she captioned the post. A comprehensive review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that golf's health benefits are extensive, including mind, body, and even lifespan. Benefits include improved longevity, decreased risk of developing heart disease or suffering a stroke, good mental health, and improved strength and balance.
Ice Baths
In her recent post, Madison takes an ice bath. There is limited research supporting the benefits of cold plunges, which may include easing sore muscles, bringing body temperature down, increased focus, improved sleep, and decreased inflammation, per the Cleveland Clinic. However, a 2021 study found that cold water immersion therapy promotes basic post-sport recovery.
