Blac Chyna In Pink Workout Gear Celebrates 21 Months Sober
Blac Chyna (real name Angela White) is celebrating a major accomplishment—she is officially 21 months sober. Chyna, 36, shared a video of herself wearing pink leggings and a matching sports bra, dancing in the sunshine in her backyard. "Let's Dance 21 months Sober. 🎀 Sept 14, 2022. Thank you God, Thank you Jesus, Thank you Holy Spirit!" she captioned the post. "That's awesome! ❤️❤️❤️ Excited for all the wonderful things that are in your future!" commented The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss. Here's how Chyna stays fit, happy, and is living her best life.
Sober Life
Chyna is proud of her sobriety. "I was drinking, I just had to open up my eyes and realize it," she told the Los Angeles Times. "And then not even just in front of people, even in private. A lot of times, we do things in private, or try to hide things from people, but once you start being real with yourself, that's when you start to really see or realize certain things, and your life is just going to get better."
Working Out For Self-Care
Chyna works out for both mental and physical health. "Within that hour, you really don't think about what's going on in your personal life," she told Flaunt. "It's that one hour you get to tune out the world, put your phone down. If I workout at home, you're still in that environment of this and I'm still on my phone. If I go out, I'm able to train and not even think about whatever it is I have to do after that."
Gentle, Not Soft
Chyna emphasizes she is gentle but not soft. "I'm soft to the people that I need to be soft with, that give me respect, and I give that respect back," she told the Los Angeles Times. "If people want to be nasty and rude, I'm still not going to give that back, but I'm going to guard myself. I don't want people to think that, 'Oh, I'm soft. Because I'm not.' I'm a soft person, I'm a gentle person, but I'm not soft…. This is not an era for me."
Therapy Sessions
Chyna sees a therapist and wishes more people would do so, too. "I see my therapist, there's nothing wrong with that," she told Flaunt. "I encourage everybody to go see it. Honestly a lot of times, we can't become this person we're meant to be because we have so many mental blockages, family traumas or childhood traumas, or other people's insecurities they put on you throughout the years."
Embracing Angela
Chyna is embracing her natural self. "I was hiding Angela, because I had just been hurt so much throughout the years," she told the Los Angeles Times. "I feel like as a woman in this industry, people will try you, they will try to walk all over you and make you seem less than or that you're not capable of doing certain things, and that's just other people's insecurities. And when their insecurities rub off on you, you kind of start looking at yourself different."
