5 Secrets of Demi Lovato's Stunning Beach Body as She Shows Off Swimwear
Demi Lovato is looking cool (and hot) for the summer – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post the singer shows off their fantastic figure in recycled swimwear. "Yes I've worn this bathing suit for years, yes I had it made and yes it's the only one I need, okay?!!" the 31-year-old captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are 5 of her lifestyle secrets.Â
No Pressure
Lovato has relaxed their approach to diet and fitness. "I used to put a lot of pressure on myself. And now I've taken that pressure off—to where I'm not trying to fit a certain mold or a certain size. I'm just trying to be healthy and live my best life regardless of what other people think of me. It's a daily struggle sometimes. But for the most part, I don't care as much as I used to. I've lived in the public eye for so long; it can consume you. And I just don't let it consume me anymore. I don't let it consume my mental health," they told Allure.
"Fake It 'Til You Make It"
"Sometimes, you have to fake it 'til you make it," they told Fashionista. "If I'm having a moment where I don't feel that great about my body, I'm still practicing and taking all the steps that I need to take in order to feel the best that I can."Â
No Calorie Counting
"I don't count calories anymore. I don't over-exercise anymore. I don't restrict or purge. And I especially…don't live my life [according] to the diet culture…and I've actually lost weight," they captioned a recent Instagram video. "I feel full. Not of food, but of divine wisdom and cosmic guidance, peace, serenity, joy, and love."Â
Meditation
"Meditation, moments to reflect and activities like jujitsu really help me find balance and wellness in my life," Lovato told Us. "Mental wellness and self-care look different for everyone, so whether it's five minutes of meditation or an hour-long workout, just find what works for you."
Exercise
Demi exercises while on the road, which is great for her body and mind, they say. "And I bring my trainer on the road. We work out and that centers mean mentally and physically. That helps a lot," they told Vogue.
