Rakul Preet Singh In Workout Gear Says "Balance and Consistency Is Key"
Indian actress Rakul Preet Singh is showing fans what her workouts look like under the eye of a personal trainer. Singh, 33, shared a video of herself wearing red leggings and a matching sports bra, holding a pose while balancing a large weight on her leg. "Workout done right !! Balance and consistency is the key 💪🏼💪🏼 @karansawhney11 Ps: @babil.i.k fooling around 😂😂," she captioned the post. Here's what the star does to stay fit, healthy, and strong.
Health First
Singh prioritizes her health and fitness regimen. "I choose a healthy lifestyle as it's a way of life," she told Exhibit Tech. "It's not something that I take pressure for. In fact, on the contrary, if I don't find time for myself, whether it's my workout or my little peace with myself, then I get very edgy. Also, you can always find time for things you love and prioritize. People are busy, but they find time to watch TV, they find time to party, but they don't find time to work out. So it's just priorities."
Motivation and Passion
Singh is incredibly motivated to succeed. "You don't need tips for it," she told Exhibit Tech. "Like, there's a fire up my belly all the time, 24×7, because I love my job and want to do a lot more. Have you seen my Twitter header? It says Build a life you don't need a vacation from. I love my work; I want to go to shoot every day and be in front of a camera every day, that's my sanity, and if I take a break, I get anxious."
Holistic Beauty
Singh has a holistic approach to beauty. "Regardless of the process you follow, your skin will simply be a reflection of how you feel within," she told Khush. "Makeup to me is like that friend, who you don't need in your life but you have to have in your life. I'm not big on makeup. On days when I am not shooting, I am likely to go sans makeup. Just five minutes, and my makeup is done. Post sunscreen, I prefer to roll a foundation stick. I prefer a dewy, natural finish for my base."
Environmental Issues
Singh is educating herself about environmental issues. "I'll be frank, I'm also new to sustainability, but this is a conversation we must have more often because it has been trending for the last two or three years, mainly since COVID-19 struck the planet," she told Exhibit Tech. "While we were in lockdown, the air became purer, but as we stepped out again, we were back to square one."
Beauty From Within
Singh believes self-love shows in the way people live their lives. "Beauty isn't about shape or size; it's about loving yourself and spreading the same love and joy to others," she told Elle India. "The mantra for being confident is self-belief and constantly knowing your strengths. It's very important to know your strengths and weaknesses. When you know your strength, you know what you bring to the table, and when you are certain of that, confidence exudes naturally."
