Katrina Scott is sculpting her body – in her two-piece workout gear. In a new social media post, the fitness trainer and mother-of-two shows off her flat abs in a sports bra and leggings. "Summer Sculpt at @Studio.KSL ♥️Whew this workout is so good! You've got this! 🔥," she captioned the Instagram post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

1

Pickleball

Katrina is all about pickleball. "Summer plans 🤝🏼 Pickleball," she captioned a post. "This is your sign to plan a pickleball tournament this summer with your family friends!" According to the Cleveland Clinic, the racquet sport helps improve heart health, enhances muscle and bone strength, increases balance and coordination, boosts brain health, and lengthens lifespan.

2

Empowering People

Katrina's mission is to empower. "It's never too early to start thinking about how do you want to impact the world? How do you want to impact your family? And look at your life later and say I made people feel really amazing around me. I empowered them and I hope that I can do that as a mom," she added.

Yoga

Katrina infuses yoga into her workouts. "Who's ready for Yoga Sculpt?!" she captioned a post. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. "Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood," they said. "People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating."

Her Diet Is Healthy

During an interview with her Tone It Up co-founder, Katrina discussed her diet. She suggests eating lean, clean, and green. "This means to focus on eating clean, unprocessed, whole foods like lean proteins, leafy greens and healthy fats. This also includes healthy treats like protein muffins, donuts and pancakes. We never want you to deprive yourself or give up your favorite foods," she says. She also makes sure to eat enough protein.

5

Hydrate

According to Katrina, you should make "sure you're drinking half your body weight in ounces of water per day. Most of the time when your brain is tired and you feel fatigued, you're actually dehydrated, and you could be tempted to grab something high in sugar to help your energy levels. Instead, fill up your water bottle. Staying hydrated will boost your metabolism and make your skin glow!" she says.
