Amanda Stanton Flaunts Fit Body While Staying Happy With These Wellness Habits

Stanton shares her wellness secrets for staying fit and happy, inside and out.

Amanda Stanton was put on the map for her time on reality TV, participating in shows like Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelor. She took to social media posting "'heaven on earth @casarosadasayulita @summerthorntondesign 🌅," on Instagram, captioned on a series of photos of her flaunting her fit physique in Sayulita, Nayarit, Mexico. Swimming and soaking in the sun with her family is so good for the soul. What else does she do to stay in a mentally and physically strong place? We found out what keeps her healthy and happy inside and out.

1

She splurges on vacation

She treats herself every so often. "Already counting down until we can come back to Montecito! If you've been, drop your recommendations in the comments! ☀️💛 Either staying or eating at the Rosewood Miramar is a must," she said on Instagram. According to Northwestern Medicine, "after eating a larger meal than usual, your body increases leptin production by as much as 30 percent for up to 24 hours. For those on a highly restrictive, low-calorie diet, psychologists and nutritionists often believe that cheat meals allow individuals to eat better throughout the week."

She works out on the go

Regardless of how busy she is, she takes time to workout, even if it's just a quick floor exercise. "I never thought I'd be the girl who works out on vacation but here we are!! Let me know if you want to see my quick resistance band workout," she said on Instagram. On the Cleveland Clinic, "no matter what your fitness level, resistance bands are a great piece of equipment to use," said physiologist Christopher Travers, MS.

She indulges in winter activities

In photos with her family of them enjoying skiing in Aspen, Colorado, she captioned it "powder pandas ⛷️." It's important to stay active, even in the cooler months, taking advantage of being outside. She makes sure she has her fluids and stays hydrated. "A glimpse of our morning routine," she said on Instagram. "We're on the go all the time and if you know me you know I'm a flavored water girl so my @drinkcirkul tumbler has been a life saver for staying hydrated. The black cherry flavor is my favorite, but there are over 100 flavors to choose from! Run and get yours at Walmart before they sell out! #cirkulpartner #drinkcirkul."

Spending time outdoors and in the water is therapeutic and great for your overall wellness. She posted on Instagram, on videos of her on vacation, playing in the water, "postcard from @ritzcarltonkapalua xoxo mom & dad." According to the Cleveland Clinic, "swimming isn't just good exercise, it's great exercise. That's thanks to the water itself, which offers buoyancy and resistance that makes it easier on your whole body than other forms of exercise."
