Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Hunter McGrady in Workout Gear Jokes She's "Not Chosen For 2024 Olympics"

She’s not surprised.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit star Hunter McGrady is poking fun at her own lack of athletic skills with a new social media post. McGrady, 31, shared a video of herself wearing black workout gear, clambering in and out of the back of her SUV (the text reads "So unfortunately I was not chosen for the 2024 Olympics"). "All this work and for WHAT! 🙄#olympics #parisolympics2024," she captioned the funny post. "They need to make installing and removing car seats from your vehicle an Olympic sport 😂," commented a fan. Here's how the model stays healthy, happy, and full of energy.

1

Early Mornings

McGrady makes time for herself every day by waking up early. "I started implementing this a couple months ago, because my daughter is now 9 months old and she's kind of out of that newborn stage, but I really wanted time in the morning for me," she told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit back in January. "So that meant getting up a half an hour earlier so that way I am able to drink my coffee in peace and quiet."

Home Workouts and Cooking

McGrady's routine didn't change drastically during the pandemic lockdowns. "I've been doing workouts virtually with Megan Roup every morning, which has been amazing, whether I'm tuning in to her IG Live or her app The Sculpt Society," she told HelloGiggles. "I've also been cooking up a storm and becoming quite the little chef that I never thought I would be. I've found a new appreciation for cooking and eating at home."

Mental Health

McGrady sees self-care as a benefit for her family. "I've always really prioritized my mental health," she told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. "I have two little kids—I have a two-and-a-half-year-old and a 9-month-old, almost 10-month-old—and it's busy, it's crazy, but I think making myself a priority has almost made me a better mom in so many ways. I feel like I can give more of me because I've given to myself first."

Sunday Self-Care

McGrady loves to relax and recuperate on Sundays. "I love doing the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair hair mask on Sundays as well as the Fresh Rose Face Mask," she told HelloGiggles. "I also always do something for myself that doesn't include my phone. I have been getting back into reading, which has been so beautiful and takes me to another place mentally. I have been appreciating so much. I forgot how great a good book is."

Dating Yourself

McGrady says moms have to date themselves. "You have to figure out what makes you swoon again as a mom," she told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. "Your priorities change, your time changes, the things you might have used to do changes. Honestly, this goes for anybody, whether you're a mom or not … I feel like we're constantly having to date ourselves and find things that really fill us up and feel exciting and give us those butterflies and that hope and I think that that's really important."
