Cathy Kelley is doing Pilates in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the WWE host shows off her amazing body in a two-piece exercise set during an exercise set. "me & memes (tell me my knees are pretty 🥺)," she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Boxing

"Over the past few years, exercise has become a fun and calming part of my life rather than a chore," Kelley told Us. The TV host even turns it into a social event. "On the weekends, I usually get together with a girlfriend for a workout class. I'm currently loving boxing." Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.

Protein-Packed Breakfast

Cathay starts her day with a protein-packed breakfast. "If I'm home, I typically have an egg with avocado, plus one very large coffee," she says.

Hiking

Cathay is a hiker. "Real life oregon trail but no one died of dysentery," she captioned a post. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

Cathay is a reader. "I love taking time for myself, whether it's reading a book or listening to a podcast. It helps me feel relaxed and balanced," she told Us. "my fave stoic is epictetus. Wbu?" she captioned a post of herself reading. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

Pilates

In her recent post, Cathay does Pilates. Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it "strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health." It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
