Thomalla doesn't mind flaunting her super-toned figure, and one way she keeps in shape is by hiking. "Living on the edge has always been my motto," she wrote, accompanying a picture of herself in black shorts and a white tee, sitting on a mountaintop and admiring the view. Hiking is a great workout and has many health benefits. "Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise which builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis," Piedmont says. Scroll through Thomalla's social media, and you'll find countless photos of her at the beach in sexy swimwear, lounging in the sun, and getting vitamin D, which is beneficial to overall well-being. According to the Mayo Clinic, "Vitamin D is a nutrient your body needs for building and maintaining healthy bones. That's because your body can only absorb calcium, the primary component of bone, when vitamin D is present." The site also states that "Vitamin D also regulates many other cellular functions in your body. She Doesn't Cave Into Pressure

Being in the public eye can subject you to a lot of scrutiny, but Thomalla ignores it. In an interview with My Stylery, she was asked if she was pressured to wear certain outfits, and she said no. "It is not about the shock factor, I simply choose what I like. Besides, I do not particularly like long robes. They are usually extremely uncomfortable and I don't think that I'm generally the type for dresses anyways."

She Doesn't Regret Her Tattoos

Thomalla is known for showing off her numerous tattoos, and she doesn't regret any of them. In the interview with My Stylery, she said, "I don't regret any of my tattoos. No matter of the separation rumors. If at all, then it is the tattoo with the portrait of my mother, which I sometimes question, when she once again annoys me motherly (laughs)." However, she said there are certain parts of her body she would not ink. "I personally think that tattoos on women's legs don't look beautiful. Hands are also out of the question. Who knows, maybe I'm once going to moderate a political show, then a tattooed neck wouldn't look so good either."
