Golf Stunner Jaye Marie Green in Two-Piece Workout Gear is "Looking Good"

“Paisley making some valid swing suggestions."

Jaye Marie Green, an accomplished LPGA golfer, is back on the course after welcoming her baby daughter. Balancing motherhood and her professional career, Green recently shared an adorable moment on Instagram, where her daughter Paisley made some playful noises during her swing. "Paisley making some valid swing suggestions," she captioned the post, giving her followers a glimpse into her life as a new mom and golfer. Known for her dedication to fitness, Green incorporates a range of exercises, from weightlifting to lunges, into her training routine to stay in top shape for her sport. Here's how Green maintains her fitness and well-being, both on and off the golf course.

1

She Golfs

Golf is the main way Green stays in shape, and it has a lot of health benefits. Better Health states, "Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you'll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you'll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more."

She Lifts Weights

Green shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is lift weights. Green shared this video of herself using a barbell. ACE Fitness states that using weights has a lot of benefits. "Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue."

She Does Deadlifts

In the previous Instagram post, Green is seen doing deadlifts. NASM states that the workout has a lot of benefits. "A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts."

She Does Lunges

Green likes to do lunges to stay in shape. She is seen doing them in this Instagram post. ACE Fitness states that lunges are extremely effective. "They're a form of unilateral training, which means you're working only one limb or side of the body at a time. And unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side."

She Has A Dog

Green has two dogs, whom she features on her Instagram. According to Harvard Health, having a dog has a lot of benefits. "Dog owners are less prone to bouts of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. Simply petting your dog can make you feel less stressed. One of the greatest benefits of owning a dog is that it encourages you to practice mindfulness — being in the present moment and fully appreciating life. Mindfulness can help you relieve stress and also improves your overall health."
