Rita Ora is a lot of things. She's a singer. She's an actress, who recently played the Queen of Hearts in Descendants: The Rise of Red. She's a TV personality, appearing as a panelist on both the UK and US versions of The Masked Singer. Ora recently hit the gym, and shared some photos on her Instagram story. She Does Pilates

In one of her Instagram stories, Ora is seen in a Pilates studio. Doing Pilates has a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic states, "Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn't look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn't going to bulk you up — if anything, it's designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury."

She Walks

Ora shared some of her favorite ways to stay healthy in a recent Instagram story. One of her tips states, "Walk 30-60 minutes/day." Walking is a great way to stay healthy. Harvard Health reports, "Walking can help protect you during cold and flu season. A study of over 1,000 men and women found that those who walked at least 20 minutes a day, at least 5 days a week, had 43% fewer sick days than those who exercised once a week or less. And if they did get sick, it was for a shorter duration, and their symptoms were milder."

She Lifts Weights

Another tip in Ora's Instagram story was, "Lift weights 45 minutes, 4x a week." Lifting weights has a lot of benefits. The American Heart Association states that the exercises can, "Increased strength of bones, muscles and connective tissues (tendons and ligaments). Lower risk of injury. Increased muscle mass, which makes it easier for your body to burn calories and thus maintain a healthy weight. Better quality of life."

She Stays Hydrated

Ora makes sure to stay hydrated. In her Instagram story, she said, "Drink 16 oz of electrolyte water." The American Heart Association states that staying hydrated is extremely important. "Drinking enough water keeps the body hydrated, which helps the heart more easily pump blood through the body. It also helps muscles work efficiently. If you're well hydrated, your heart doesn't have to work as hard."

Ora revealed in her Instagram story that she loves Greek yogurt. The Mayo Clinic states that yogurt is very beneficial. "Yogurt is high in calcium, protein, selenium, B-12 and other nutrients. Many yogurts also contain probiotics — the beneficial bacteria that live in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Healthy bacteria in the gut are critical to digestion. Research also shows that these tiny microbes play an important role in regulating the immune system, the inflammatory response and many other bodily functions."
