Lindita in Two-Piece Workout Gear Hits "the Gym"
Lindita, a talented singer known for her appearances on American Idol and her role as Albania's representative in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, recently posted a funny Instagram video. Dressed in workout clothes, she humorously captioned it: "Each time I start at the gym, I obviously get cravings for food 🤣😩🤣 #lol #Albanian #viral" Beyond her sense of humor, Lindita has a strong commitment to fitness and health. Here's how she stays in top form:
She Loves Salmon
Lindita revealed in this interview with People that she loves eating salmon. According to The Mayo Clinic, salmon is very healthy. "Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints."
She Likes Eggs
Lindita also told People that she enjoys eating eggs. Keck Medicine states that they have a lot of benefits. "Eggs have been a dietary staple since time immemorial and there's good reason for their continued presence in our menus and meals. Not only do they offer culinary variety — hard-boiled eggs, omelets, deviled eggs and then some — they are also a source of protein, calcium and several vitamins and nutrients."
She's Driven
Lindita works hard in every aspect of her life and career. She talked about this in her People interview. "Idol inspired me to keep working towards being a singer. My main goal is to get a Grammy. I'm not stopping until I get there!" Lindita also says that this attitude applies to her workouts. "Now I work out for me," she says. "I'm not trying to be the cutest girl in the gym. I'm just trying to feel good in my body and in my skin."
She Intermittent Fasts
Lindita revealed to Anabel Magazine that she likes to intermittently fast. The Mayo Clinic states that this can have a lot of health benefits. "Losing weight and being physically active help lower your risk of obesity-related diseases, such as diabetes, sleep apnea and some types of cancer. For these diseases, intermittent fasting seems to be about as beneficial as any other type of diet that reduces overall calories."
She Swims
Lindita likes to swim to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself in a pool. Swimming has a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic states, "Swimming isn't just good exercise, it's great exercise. That's thanks to the water itself, which offers buoyancy and resistance that makes it easier on your whole body than other forms of exercise…We're not saying that swimming is easy (far from it!), but swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That's because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints."
