10 Celebs Who Changed Their Diets & Totally Transformed Their Bodies

Fans can always count on celebs to do what it takes to look and feel their very best. After all, being in front of the lens, onstage, or gracing the red carpet so frequently can be a positive motivating factor—or, a lot of pressure. Many A-listers have revamped their way of eating and completely transformed their bodies. From following specific diets like Keto, Atkins, and Weight Watchers, to sticking with their own game plans, we put together 10 celebrities who found what worked for them.
1. Jennifer Hudson
After having her son, Jennifer Hudson lost her pregnancy weight, and Weight Watchers played a big role, according to SheFinds.
"I had to break my diet mentality," Jennifer told Self, as reported by She Finds. "I used to deprive myself, thinking that was healthy. I didn't eat pasta, fried food, red meat. I hadn't had pizza in 10 years. If you're on a strict diet that says you shouldn't have any carbs or this or that, your body won't function the way it should. I know now that I can eat anything I want and still lose or maintain my weight. It's about portions and balance."

For me, I really want to do something that is a lifestyle, because in the past I've been known to yo-yo diet. Weight Watchers changed my relationship with food, and I feel so much more prepared to make the right choices. It feels pretty incredible."

3. Alyssa Milano
Alyssa Milano credits the Atkins diet with helping her lose weight after her second pregnancy.
"About six months after Elizabella was born, I started focusing on losing the weight and making sure I was healthy and at my best for my family," she shared with PEOPLE. "This journey with Atkins is about me feeling better overall, having more energy and reaching my happy weight. I enjoy all my favorite foods. I love chicken and fish; I eat lots of vegetables, healthy fats, low sugar fruits, cheese, and nuts. Some of my favorite things include parmesan-crusted chicken with cheesy cauliflower bake and tacos night with fresh guacamole. I have all the fixings and just use lettuce cups in place of tortilla. In fact, Atkins inspired me to learn how to cook for myself and my family using foods that are lower in carbs."
4. Halle Berry
Halle Berry has diabetes, so she is very mindful of her food choices. For this reason, she chose to follow the keto lifestyle.
Halle posted on her Instagram, "For years, I have been following the keto or ketogenic diet. I hate the word 'diet' so while you'll see the word diet, just know I encourage you to think of it as a lifestyle change NOT A DIET! Keto is a very low-carb food plan which actually forces your body to burn fat like crazy. I also believe it's been largely responsible for slowing down my aging process. The keto lifestyle offers so many benefits such as weight loss, (moms that's how we get rid of our baby bellies), appetite control, more energy and better mental performance."

I'm always making sure I'm getting those healthy fats in, so I eat a LOT of almond butter. You feel really energetic and supported on the keto diet," the actress revealed to PEOPLE.
6. Megan Fox
Megan Fox had her own method of losing weight after giving birth to her second chid. She shared with E! News, "I cut out all bread and those sort of carbohydrates. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips. Nothing unhealthy. The worst thing I put in my body is coffee, once a day. I don't have any cheat days. But if I did, it would be pizza or cake."

"Chicken breasts, yummy salads, great vegetables, fish—all of that kind of high-protein stuff. 10. Kourtney Kardashian
In order to maintain her impressive figure, Kourtney Kardashian also turned to the keto diet.
"My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and half years ago, when I did it for two months," she wrote in a post on her website, Poosh. "In my experience, I've found the best method to train my body to curb sugar cravings, burn fat, and kick-start weight loss is by sticking to a keto diet. 'Keto' is short for 'ketosis,' a metabolic state that happens when your body switches from burning carbs to burning fat. I've been treating myself lately and really want to get back on track, so I've committed myself to keto for the next month. The meal plan is all about eating high-fat, high-protein, and low-carb."
