Nastia Liukin In Two-Piece Workout Gear Stuns On The Beach

Nastia Liukin charmed all of us when she competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, becoming the all-around champion of the event. Since then, she's worked as a correspondent for the 2024 Summer Olympics, competed on Dancing With The Stars, and started her own gymnastics competition, The Nastia Liukin Cup. Nastia recently shared a carousel post on Instagram. In three of the photos, she posed on the beach in an adorable all-pink set of workout gear. She captioned the post, "Because what's the point if you're not having fun." Here are 5 of Nastia Liukin's wellness secrets.
She Swims
As you can see from her Instagram post, Nastia loves going to the beach. Naturally, she does a lot of swimming to keep herself in shape. She included a photo of herself floating on her back in the ocean in this Instagram post, captioning it, "Happy earth day from some of my favorite places on earth 🌎" Nastia also shared these photos of herself by the pool, captioning them, "Dallas, texas: where it's 95 and sunny one day & tornado watches and flash floods the next."
She Runs
Nastia loves going on runs to keep herself in shape. Usually, she brings her adorable pup with her. Nastia shared this video of herself and her dog running on the beach on Instagram. She captioned it, "My love for you can easily be determined and measured based upon my desire to run with you… exhibit a :)" Nastia included a similar photo of herself and her pup in this carousel Instagram post, and captioned it, "Yesterday, on film… a dream 🕊️💓🎞️"
She Does A Variety Of Workouts
Nastia shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with HollywoodLife. She says that when it comes to fitness, she believes in doing a variety of different things. "I try to work out almost every day. I love pilates, I love hot yoga, SoulCycle, just going for a run. If I cant get out to do a class, in my house, I do squats, pushups, a little circuit. There's really no excuse. There is no, 'I don't have access to a gym' — go for a run or a walk outside, do squats in your living room. It's really important to stay young, to stay healthy."
She Doesn't Deprive Herself
When it comes to her diet, Nastia does eat healthy, but she doesn't believe in restricting herself. "The biggest thing is to treat yourself," she says to HollywoodLife. "Because if you tell yourself you can't have something, that's all you're going to want. I remember my mom always told me, if you want a cookie, have a cookie, just don't have the whole box!
She Schedules Her Diet
Nastia's diet is pretty balanced. She revealed in her HollywoodLife interview that she will schedule out what she's likely going to eat ahead of time. "My number one thing is moderation," Nastia says. "If you know on a Saturday night you have a party, and there's going to be tons of not-great food and desserts, try to be good that week and have some salads, greens, and proteins from Monday through Friday. On Saturday, you can indulge and not feel so bad. I'm all about moderation and just living.
