Jessica Alba is ready for bikini season. She’s shared a lot of gorgeous photos on Instagram recently. Jessica enjoyed a pool day with her friends, and shared highlights on her page. In them, she wore a brown bikini with a white flower pattern, her impressive figure on display. Jessica captioned the post, “Channeling chill – breathwork – friendship and selfcare.” How does Jessica Alba get her summer body? Read on to see 5 of her wellness tips.
She Hikes
Jessica loves to hike to keep herself in shape. In this Instagram video, she revealed that she and a friend went on a hiking retreat together. Jessica captioned the post, “My bestie @kellysawyer 💖 & I went on an a$$ kicking health retreat @theranchmalibu ✨ – a week of clean vegan eating, intense hiking & fitness from some of the most amazing chefs & instructors!”
She Loves Salmon
Jessica makes sure to eat a healthy diet. One food she loves is salmon. In this video she posted on Instagram, Jessica is seen enjoying a homemade salmon bowl. Eating fish of any kind has a lot of health benefits. John Hopkins Medicine reports, “Unlike trans or saturated fat (which can be found in processed foods and red meat), the fat in fish is great for your health, because it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acid is an essential fat that cannot be made by the body and must be supplied by the food you eat.”
She Believes In Balance
While Jessica does eat a healthy diet, she doesn’t like to deprive herself. She explained to People that indulging is what allows her to stick with her diet. “I don’t deprive myself … I have [junk] if I want it. When I do feel that I am depriving myself, I find that I binge. That’s not a balanced way to go about it.”
She Meditates
One thing Jessica does for her mental health is practice meditation. “I listen to a meditation podcast from the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center,” she told POPSugar. “Each one is literally just three minutes long, so I can go into a bathroom stall or do it in my car. But I’m really intrigued by Transcendental Meditation. Everyone I know who does TM has this inner peace and a glow. I want that.”
She Prioritizes Exercise
Jessica makes working out a priority in her life. She revealed to the Los Angeles Times that she adopted this attitude after becoming a mother. “I had to make myself get back to it. I had no idea there was something called ‘Me Time’ — that you have to carve it out because it’s not just going to magically appear. For me, it’s just as much about mental health and fitness, feeling connected to your body, being able to clear your mind and having the space to shut down and that’s just as important as getting the blood flowing.”
