How does the star remain ageless in her sixties? Here are her top diet and exercise hacks.

1

She Follows a Few Food Rules

Elizabeth has a few dietary rules that are her go-tos, she shared in an Instagram post. She starts with the size of her meals and how and when she eats them. “My mantra is: don’t eat too much, too fast, too often or too late. Or, put another way, eat smaller meals, chew properly, ban snacking and eat dinner earlier. This works for me,” she writes in her post.

2

She Doesn’t Drink Her Calories

Elizabeth refuses to drink her calories in the form of smoothies or green juice. “I don’t drink weird green juices or shakes,” she says. She also refuses to take nutrients in pill form, with one exception. She only takes supplements “if a blood test tells me I’m lacking something,” she says.

3

She Fills Half Her Plate with Produce

Instead of drinking her produce, she has a plating hack she uses. “I try to have vegetables or fruit equal half of every plate I eat – ie if I have a sandwich, I also eat an apple,” she says.

4

She Sticks to a Clean Diet Most of the Time

If you want to look like Elizabeth at 60, plan on eating clean. “I eat pretty much everything but only have junk food as an absolute treat – and I count junk food as anything that contains any ingredient that I don’t have in my own kitchen, so that includes ‘diet’ and ‘low-fat’ everything, all ready meals, all bought sandwiches, cakes and biscuits and all sodas,” she says.

5

She Bakes

While you won’t find Elizabeth eating processed carbs, you will find her in the kitchen baking her own. “My best investment was a bread maker and I make a loaf a day. I also make cakes every weekend,” she says.

6

She Is “Extremely Active”

While You won’t find Hurley at the gym, she makes sure to stay active. “Other than diet, my other advice is to move more. I don’t go to the gym or do any set exercise but I’m extremely active. There endeth the sermon. Let me know if this makes sense for you,” she concluded her post.
