Learn about all her diet and fitness tips

Sonja Morgan is transforming into a mermaid in her bikini. In a new social media post, the Real Housewives of New York star shows off her amazing body in an AI-generated clip of herself as a mermaid. “I always wanted to be a mermaid 🧜🏻‍♀️,” the star captioned a video of her transforming into a mermaid. She added the hashtags #mermaid #bikini #underwater. “Omg fabulous. I need this gorgeous filter,” one person commented. “DIVAAAAAA,” added another.

1

Light Exercise

Sonja prefers light workouts to high intensity. “I’m not a maniac at working out,” she told The Lookbook, via Bravo. “I always think that’s strange.” Instead, she likes going on walks around New York City or finding activities to do with friends. “I like social sports, so if I can play a little tennis with Luann [de Lesseps] or do yoga, I’m very happy to do that.”

2

Connecting with Her “Spiritual Side” to Lose Weight

Sonja revealed that weight loss has a significant impact on her mind, as well as her eating habits and exercise. “I had to go to the desert,” she said about her experience at the We Care Spa in Desert Hot Springs, California. “And get connected with my spiritual side.” She added while on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: “I’m doing what I usually do after I wrap a big season of RHONY. I am detoxing.”

3

Cleanses

While at the spa, Sonja went on a strict cleanse. “No sugar, no white food, no gluten,” she said. “Actually I’m only juicing right now. I’m doing colonics. I’m taking cinnamon, cloves, garlic: everything to kill everything and keep my immunities up. Lots of green juice.”

4

Water with Lemon

Sonja prioritizes hydration. One of her favorite drinks is water with lemon. She keeps two pitchers of H2O infused with lemon, mint, or basil in her fridge. She added that she downs “six to eight” glasses of water a day.

5

Mind-Body Workouts

Sonja loves mind-body workouts. “I like that mind-body connection that I get when I’m in a more spiritual state, whether it’s doing Zumba ’cause I’m out of my body dancing or the yoga or the Pilates,” she told The Lookbook.

6

Cherry Juice

Sonja drinks a tart beverage before bed. “Sour cherry juice is known to help you sleep, it’s very calming and it cuts down on uric acid,” she told Us about the compound that the body produces when drinking alcohol, leading to inflammation. “If you hang out with a party group like mine, sometimes it’s not a bad idea.”
