Kelsea Ballerini In Bikini Shares Photo Dump & Says “HAGS”

Kelsea Ballerini is having a great summer. She’s touring her new album, Patterns. She met up with the famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. And she’s making sure to cool off with some pool days. Kelsea shared some of her summer highlights in a recent Instagram post. In one photo, she is seen swimming while wearing a black bikini. Kelsea captioned the post, “H.A.G.S.”, which means “Have a great summer.” Here are 5 of Kelsea Ballerini’s diet and exercise secrets, which got her that bikini body.
She Loves Smoothies
Kelsea makes sure to eat a healthy diet. She shared some of her favorite foods in an interview with EatingWell. Kelsea loves making smoothies first thing in the morning. “I’ll make a smoothie, just a green smoothie, and add coconut water. If I don’t have that, I’ve been trying to add a lot more protein into my diet, so I’ll either do cottage cheese with an orange and some honey, or egg whites and veggies.”
She Has A Healthier Approach To Eating
Kelsea revealed to EatingWell that she has developed a healthy approach to eating. “In my teens and early 20s, I had a very challenging relationship with food,” she explains. “But I feel that in my adulthood, I’ve really shifted to be like, ‘Food is fuel,’ and I want to be able to fuel my body to do all the things that I want to do and chase down all the dreams and goals that I have. And so I feel like I’m in the healthiest space that I have been in a really long time with my relationship to food and enjoying it and cooking.”
She Cooks
One way Kelsea ensures she eats the right foods is by cooking a lot of her own meals. “I cook a lot more, I’m less about a routine and more about just listening to my body,” she said in an interview with TODAY.com. “I think everyone needs different things to be able to navigate their lives, and so learning what works for me has been really crucial.”
She Does Pilates
Kelsea shared one of her go-to workouts in her EatingWell interview. “I do Pilates in the morning, three days a week.” Pilates is a great way to keep yourself in shape. Research done by The Cleveland Clinic states, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance.”
She Walks
Kelsea shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. One thing she does to keep both her mind and body healthy is going on walks. “Just to get fresh air and get sunshine and move my body, but not move my body in a way that I’m feeling like I’m needing [to see] some results.”
