Lori Harvey in Bikini Says “Summer Is Here”

Lori Harvey is keeping things hot this summer in her bikini. Steve Harvey’s stunning daughter shows off her fantastic body in a white swimsuit while boating. “Summer is here,” she captioned the Instagram clip. “Summer Lori has arrived,” one of her followers commented. “Hotter than fire,” another added. How does the 28-year-old maintain her fantastic figure? Here are her diet and fitness tips.
Lift Weights
Lori lifts weights at The Dog Pound. She shared her workout via an Instagram video, doing pull ups to squats, and flaunting her flat abs in a crop top and leggings. “I usually try to switch it up and do more cardio some days and more strength training on others,” the Pretty Little Thing ambassador said in an interview with their blog. Her typical workout starts with a five minute warmup, followed by a few circuits of strength training, “either lower or upper body depending on what day it is and I always finish with ab work,” she said.
Keep Healthy Food Around
Lori keeps her kitchen stocked with healthy food. “I always keep some fruit around, I love strawberries and pomegranates. Lots of water. And some type of breakfast foods like eggs or oatmeal,” she said.
Box
Lori loves boxing. Harvard Health maintains that boxing is a great way to build strength, improve balance, posture, hand-eye coordination, boost mood and endurance, and helps increase alertness.
Do Pilates
She also does pilates. “We had the booty band on the entire time,” she told Bustle in an interview conducted right after her Pilates class. “I just feel muscles working that I didn’t even know I had, but that is what I’m really into right now.” Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body’s inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Ride Horses
Lori was a competitive equestrian for many years. “It’s very freeing. My mind constantly is going at a million things 24/7; it’s hard for me to shut my brain down. When I’m on a horse, literally that is all I’m thinking about: me in that moment and me and that horse. You have to be very in tune to the horse and what’s going on, and picking up on them and the environment, and making sure there’s not anything around that could maybe spook them or scare them,” she told Bustle. “I did show jumping, so I’m paying attention to my distance from the jumps and the setup, and is [the horse] positioned right? So many things go into it, but it’s a very freeing experience.” According to the American Heart Association, riding horses is great for your health. It boosts cardiovascular health, builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.
