Brittany Aldean in Bikini Shares “Postcard From the Islands”

Here is what we know about her diet and exercise routine

Brittany Aldean is heating up the islands in her bikini. In a new social media post, Jason Aldean’s bombshell wife shows off her amazing figure in a chic bathing suit as she vacations in the tropics. “Postcard from the islands,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunner,” commented one of her followers. “Babe,” added another. How does the influencer approach health and wellness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.

1

She Is “Naturally Active”

Brittany doesn’t spend too much time stressing about exercise. “My go-to fitness routine is anything that’s just naturally active. I like to do activities,” she told People. For example, she doesn’t like lifting weights or running on the treadmill. “It’s just not fun,” she says. “I can’t just pop in a gym all the time.” She does try to get her steps in, which can be a game-changer. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

She Is a Fan of the South Beach Diet

Brittany is a fan of the South Beach lower-carb diet because she is “able to eat often and I don’t ever feel like I’m starving myself,” she told People. “I feel very healthy, I feel good, and in turn I’m losing weight.”

She Views Food as Fuel

Brittany has a positive relationship with food. “I’m a firm believer that food is fuel,” she explained. “Eating healthy gives me energy and let’s face it, I need all the energy I can get with our busy life and these two babies running around! And, the new keto-friendly South Beach Diet just launched and I love it! It provides all the benefits of keto without being so strict,” she told Fox News.

She Helps Jason Stay in Shape

During an appearance on Big D & Bubba Show Jason revealed that Brittany helped him stay in shape. “Just marry somebody where every time you’re in there about 10:00 p.m. at night getting ready to eat something, they’re like telling you not to. You know what I mean?” he said. “She eats pretty healthy. And I think, for me, I just kind of fall into that. I’m like, ‘Okay, well we’re eating fish tonight. Okay, cool. We’re eating, yeah, fish tonight. Okay, cool.’ So honestly, it’s just that, and just trying to be more active,” Jason said. “Just getting out, trying to, I don’t know, play golf or do just whatever.”

She Drinks Coffee

Brittany is a coffee drinker. She regularly shares photos and videos of herself with a cup in hand. According to the Cleveland Clinic, moderate coffee consumption has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
