Zoe Saldana In Bikini Shares Her “Mood For The Summer”

Zoe Saldana is one of the most iconic actresses of all time. She’s starred in some of the highest grossing franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Avatar films, and Pirates Of The Caribbean. Zoe’s other films include Crossroads with Britney Spears, Drumline with Nick Cannon, and Emilia Perez, which earned her an Oscar. She recently posted a video of herself in a white bikini top and shorts on Instagram. In it, Zoe danced before driving off in a golf cart. She captioned the post, “Mood for the summer.” Here are 5 of Zoe Saldana’s diet and exercise secrets.
She Does Yoga
Zoe talked about her wellness routine in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she loves going to yoga classes to keep herself fit. “I like feeling that I’m giving myself—my body, my spirit, my mind—the attention it needs. I often take for granted how helpful stretching and breathing exercises are. Yoga reminds me to breathe and slow down.”
She Doesn’t Stress About Wellness
For Zoe, wellness isn’t something to worry about. However, she tells Women’s Health that she didn’t always have this attitude. “When I was younger, I was more strict,” recalls Zoe. “I felt I needed to control that part of my life in order to feel I was going to be successful at something—because we often equate success with our physical beauty. It’s so f-cked up!”
She’s Gluten Free
Zoe shared her and her family’s favorite foods in an interview with Bon Appetit. In it, she revealed that her family is gluten free.”[My husband] Marco is Italian, and there are certain things about his culture that he doesn’t want to part with, like the pasta and the breaded meats. So it’s like, ‘How do I keep a gluten-free family happy?’ There’s a lot of improvisation—I’m learning how to make the most amazing dough made out of cauliflower or quinoa flour.”
She Believes In Balance
When it comes to her diet, Zoe believes in balance. She tells Bon Appetit that she sets one day a week aside for cheat meals. “It makes it more enjoyable and more relaxing when I kinda let go. There’s a serenity to knowing that because four days out of the week you took care of yourself relatively well, you can really just close your eyes and enjoy the pizza or dim sum or or fish and chips.”
She Cooks
Zoe loves to cook, especially for her family. “I feel like a home-cooked meal is better than anything in the world,” she said in her Bon Appetit interview. “The older I get, the more I enjoy the company—the bonding, the interacting with people.”
