Stassi Schroeder Stuns At The Gilded Age Exhibit In New York City

The reality star met up with Cynthia Nixon and Christine Baranski.

Stassi Schroeder has solidified her pop culture icon status. She was the main star of Vanderpump Rules and is starring on the spinoff, Vanderpump Villa. She’s written three successful books. And she’s a very successful podcast host and influencer. Stassi recently got to attend an exhibit in New York City honoring the TV series, The Gilded Age. Stassi even got to meet and interview the show’s stars, Cynthia Nixon and Christine Baranski. Here are some of Stassi Schroeder’s wellness tips.

She Doesn’t Pressure Herself

 

When it comes to her life, Stassi has learned to not care what others think or pressure herself. In fact, her third book is all about this mentality. Stassi talked about having this mindset with New Beauty. “There is nothing tangible that I could tell you: ‘This is exactly how I take the pressure off myself.’ I just have to remind myself all the time and say, ‘F*** it.’ That’s the mentality. If people see me out in public and my kid is having a tantrum, and they’re going to make their judgments, Who cares? If I don’t feel like working out today, ‘F*** it! Who cares.’ When I have that mentality, my day is that much better.”

She Makes Time For Herself

One of Stassi’s biggest wellness secrets is making time for herself. She shared some of her favorite ways to do so with New Beauty. “Every morning, right when I put my baby down, doing my hair and makeup is my meditation time. That hour to do my skin care, shower, do my hair, do my makeup, and just zone out…that’s self-care to me. And that makes my day so much better. Then, at night, once they go down to bed, if I can just like get an hour to watch a good historical drama, that really resets me. It truly does.”

She Uses This Foundation

Stassi is known for her amazing looks and makeup skills. She shared one of her favorite foundations with New Beauty. “It wasn’t until after Vanderpump Rules that someone introduced me to Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation ($52). It changed my life! I actually get annoyed to think I didn’t know about it earlier. It’s like concrete! It’s like concrete on my face. I could cry, I could scratch myself, I could go swimming, and this does not move—the coverage is insane. People will compliment me and say, ‘You have the most beautiful skin.’ But I really don’t. It’s all makeup. I swear by that foundation.”

She Likes Outdoor Workouts

Stassi shared some of her diet and exercise secrets with The Skinny Confidential. She says that she loves doing outdoor workouts as opposed to going to the gym. “I absolutely despise gyms, they feel so unnatural and tend to make me view exercise as a chore, when it should be enjoyed. I prefer hiking, walking my dog, swimming, anything outside.”

She Loves Juice

One of Stassi’s favorite healthy foods is juice. “I hated them in the beginning, & would force myself to drink them, but now I have gotten so used to them, that I actually enjoy it,” she says to The Skinny Confidential. “I love mixing things like kale, spinach, beets, cucumber, green apples, lemon, & ginger. It gives me so much natural energy and is surprisingly filling. It also keeps my skin insanely clear.”
