Vanessa Kirby Shows Off Baby Bump in Curve-Hugging Gown at Red Carpet Premiere

The actress looked incredible in Sydney and wore a black two-piece sheer look.

Vanessa Kirby is the newest actress to play Sue Storm, aka “The Invisible Woman.” She will be appearing in the new Marvel film Fantastic 4: First Steps, alongside Pedro Pascal. While attending premieres, Vanessa has been wearing so many incredible looks, and is showing off her adorable baby bump. Vanessa recently went to the premiere in Sydney, and wore a revealing two-piece sheer black dress. She shared highlights from the event on Instagram, captioning it, “Thank you for welcoming us Sydney, we love you!” Here are the secrets that got Vanessa Kirby ready to play a member of a superhero team.

1

She Stunt Trains

Prior to her role as Sue Storm, Vanessa appeared in other action roles. In an interview with Glamour, she revealed that she works with a stunt team to train. “The stunt team realised quite early on that my punches would knock nobody out and so they were like, ‘how are we going to make this remotely believable?’ Instead of doing a straight punch, which I tried to do badly, you rotate from the hips and use your whole body. You can’t do a follow through; you’ve got to reverb! It’s also a great dance move!”

She Loves Smoothies

Vanessa makes sure to eat a healthy diet. She shared some of her favorite foods in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, as reported by Yahoo. Vanessa’s favorite breakfast is a healthy smoothie. “I don’t eat first thing in the morning. I used to. I always used to have a really early rye bread with avocado, but now I’ve gotten really into smoothies.”

When she filmed Mission Impossible, Vanessa worked with a personal trainer. “There was this amazing trainer called Sam Eastwood, who would train all of us,” Vanessa explains to Harper’s Bazaar, as reported by Yahoo. “I think all of us really learned that exercise and training is more about how it makes you feel. If it feels good, then do it.”

She Doesn’t Lift Weights

Vanessa’s trainer, Sam Eastwood, shared the actress’ workout routine with the Daily Mail, as reported by Women’s Health. “Generally, I’m not going to use big weights. I get the theory; I understand why others like to use them but it’s just not for me. Unless they’re on a mega weight-loss plan, it’s not the way I’d like to train. I stay away from those heavier weights because people lose their form.”

She Loves Sweet Potatoes

In her Harper’s Bazaar interview, Vanessa revealed that she loves sweet potatoes for lunch. According to Reid Health, sweet potatoes are very healthy. “High vitamin A content is another one of the numerous benefits of sweet potatoes. Vitamin A is crucial for healthy teeth skin mucus membranes skeletal tissue and vision.”
