Josephine Skriver Stuns In Bikini, Has “Girls Week”

What did Josephine Skriver do this summer? Take a girls trip with her friends. Specifically, a girls cruise. Josephine shared a bunch of highlights from the experience on Instagram, and she made sure to show off her supermodel body. In a recent reel, Josephine waded in the ocean and wore a black bikini. She captioned the post, “Girls week.” How did Josephine Skriver get her bikini body? Here are 5 of her secrets, and the photos that prove they work.
She Boxes
Josephine shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with British Vogue. She says that she loves to box to keep herself in shape. “I used to go to an authentic boxing gym but I just want to sweat and get boxing fitness so now I see a friend if I’m in Nashville or I go to Dogpound in New York.”
She Works With A Trainer
Josephine likes to work with a trainer to keep herself in shape. She tells British Vogue that she especially likes working with a trainer after she flies. “I need a trainer in the morning when I’m jet-lagged to tell me what to do,” she explains. “Because my brain is not functioning. But working out helps my jet lag – it gives me energy.”
She Lifts Weights
Another thing Josephine does to keep herself in shape is lift weights. In fact, she picked this up from her fellow Victoria’s Secret models. “I’ve always done activities and I used to run a lot; that gave me a great fashion body,” she tells British Vogue. “But I wanted shape, so I asked around the Victoria’s Secret girls and Jasmine Tookes got me into lifting weights. I had never seen my body change so quickly. I like to train and lift weights three to five days a week, as I find it the best stress release.”
She Works Out In The Mornings
Josephine makes sure to stay consistent with her workouts. One of her secrets is by getting it done first thing in the morning. “I like to work out in the morning rather than the evening,” Josephine tells British Vogue. “It gives me energy and I find my days more productive. Once I’ve worked out, I have a good breakfast like eggs and veggies. If I plan to work out in the evening, I’m sometimes not motivated to go – especially if my friends ask me to dinner. ”
She Does Pull-Ups
To work her arms, Josephine does pull-ups. She tells ELLE Magazine that she worked really hard to be good at pull-ups. “When I did my first two pull-ups in a row, that was a great moment for me. My legs have always been strong, but my arms aren’t. I used to play soccer and everything was leg-based growing up. So I’ve never been able to do a pull-up or a push-up when I was younger. So when I did two pull-ups on a bar and could lift my head above it, I was like, Okay, now I belong in a gym.”
