Carrie Underwood Shows Off Legs, Says “Last Night Was Fun!”

Recently, Carrie got to perform at Country Music Fest in Ohio, and she wore a stunning two-piece fringe look. She shared some highlights from her performance on Instagram. Carrie captioned the post, “Last night was fun! Thanks for having us @voacountrymusicfest! You guys were great!!! 😘 #voacmf West Chester, OH.” How does Carrie keep herself looking amazing on stage? She’s Consistent

Carrie shared some of her diet and exercise secrets in an interview with TODAY.com. She says that despite her busy schedule, she makes sure to workout on a consistent basis. “I mean, just like everybody else, you fit it in. You fit in fitness wherever you can, right? Some mornings I get to have a good long workout, some mornings it’s a quick walk and some mornings, it’s nothing.”

She Eats Natural Food

When it comes to her diet, Carrie believes in eating natural food. “Overall, keeping things as simple as possible is always the best,” she explained to TODAY.com. “We live in a world right now where everything is ultra-processed and it seems like the easiest thing is to grab fast food. Things that are very simple and nutritious, you’ll never go wrong with that. I feel like that’s the best for your body and it makes you feel the best and then you can put your best foot forward.”

She Cooks

One way Carrie ensures that she eats healthy food is by cooking meals for herself and her family. “We hardly ever takeout or eat out because I don’t like to,” she revealed to Cosmopolitan. “It’s not that I’m an amazing chef — I stick to the basics, like roasted veggies and stir-fries — but I like knowing what’s in my food, and it’s hard to tell when someone else makes it for you.”

She Does A Variety Of Workouts

When it comes to fitness, Carrie does a lot of different things to keep herself in shape. “I’ll often use a deck of playing cards to make my workouts feel more fun,” she reveals to Cosmopolitan. “Because I really like to mix things up and get bored easily. I’ll assign one exercise to each suit, including one upper body move (like push-ups or pull-ups), one lower body move (like weighted squats), one abs move (often using an abs wheel) and one cardio move (like jumping rope).”

She Has A Home Gym

One way Carrie ensures that she works out on a regular basis is by having a home gym. “After grocery shopping, I’ll go home to work out,” she says to Cosmopolitan. “I have a gym at home with a treadmill, an elliptical, a cable machine, and free weights, plus a bunch of my husband Mike [Fisher]’s other equipment. Depending on the day, I try to spend 10 to 15 minutes warming up, then at least a solid hour working out.”
