Christie Brinkley has an amazing life, and she wants the world to know about it. She wrote her own memoir, aptly titled Uptown Girl, which references her appearance in the Billy Joel music video. Christie went to Author’s Night at the East Hampton Library to promote it, and she looked amazing. She wore a white two-piece outfit, which showed off her amazing legs. Christie captioned an Instagram video from the day, “I absolutely LOVED meeting everyone who came to #authorsnight to support the East Hampton Library! Seeing old friends and making new ones is truly one of life’s great joys! She Works Out At Home

Christie shared some of her workout secrets in an interview with People Magazine. She says that she works out at home. Years ago, Christie was a spokeswoman for the Total Gym workout machine, and she even did an infomercial with Chuck Norris. Christie revealed to People that she has one in her home and still uses it. “I truly love my Total Gym because it’s at home equipment and for me, I find that if it’s in my home, I’m going to do it.”

She Loves Spin Classes

Another thing Christie does to keep herself in shape is bike. She tells People that she loves riding and taking spin classes. “When I’m in a place where I can get on a bicycle and just go for a long ride, I love doing that, but I also like to jump on a Peloton or to take a spin class of some sort. I do a 20- or a 30-minute class several days a week, and then I’ll do some of the floor exercises and arm and core [the other days].”

She Doesn’t Want To Get Too Much Plastic Surgery

When it comes to aging and her looks, Christie doesn’t want to have too much work done. She talked about why in her People interview. “Sometimes when people get older, and they overdo it, they can look waxy and — I don’t know what the word is — preserved or something. I want a little life to show on my face, you know?”

She Gets Enough Protein

Christie is open about her love of animals. In fact, this is why she became a vegetarian. Christie talked about becoming a vegetarian to The Cut. She says that before she changed her diet, she did research to make sure she was getting enough protein in. “I started reading books right away because I knew that I had to replace the protein and figure out what to do. Over the years I’ve been a vegan, I’ve been a macro-biotic, I’ve been a lacto-ovo. The one constant since the day I stopped eating meat was that I haven’t eaten any red meat or fowl.”

She Prioritizes Wellness

When it comes to wellness, Christie makes it a priority in her life. “For me, [wellness is] a lifestyle,” she tells The Cut. “It’s a foundation for your future. Because your health is your greatest wealth. I really think that’s something everybody needs to invest in.”
