Nessa Barrett in Bikini Is “a Dream”

Nessa Barrett is heating up Japan in her bikini. In a new social media post, the singer flaunts her fit figure in a pleather-looking bikini while performing in front of a crowd. “OSAKA WHAT A DREAM XX💋💋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “u look amazinggggg,” commented a follower. “slaaaayeeedddddddd ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” added another. How does the star approach health and wellness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.
Conquering Eating Disorder Struggles

In the past, Nessa has been open about her eating disorder issues. In a now-deleted Instagram post she wrote, “there’s so much you don’t see,” when it comes to someone’s struggles.”i relapsed in my eating disorder and have heavily struggled with anorexia for almost a year now,” she wrote, revealing that she often felt so weak she used to collapse and even pass out from lack of food. “i have breakdowns before many shows bc i’m worried ab what to wear or how i’ll look on stage,” she shared. “i hate that i almost breakdown into tears trying to eat a meal. i hate that i can’t even look at photos or videos of my self on stage. it’s hard to even look in a mirror, my confidence has been severely damaged.”
Taking Care of Her Body and Mental Health
She started looking at food as nourishment, and things began to change. “i’m so blessed and proud of myself for my current recovery journey,” she said, noting that dealing with it on tour has been “one of the hardest challenges” in her life. “it’s taken such a physical and mental toll on my body and it also makes me feel so alone.” However, it was essential. “the only way i could have done all of my shows was if i started taking care of my body and mental health,” she wrote. “i’m so glad i took the steps to do so bc this tour made me the happiest i’ve ever been in my life.” She added: “everyday on this tour i’ve tried to teach myself how much more important this music is and all of you guys are than how i feel ab my stupid body,” Barrett wrote. “what i’m trying to get at is thank u. bc i wouldn’t be able to push through this if it wasn’t for you. you give me purpose and you give me love when i hate myself. thank u for always helping me through my dark times even when u have no idea what i’m going through.”
Adult Coloring Books
One way she deals with anxiety is “coloring a bit too much” in her adult coloring book. She loves it over journaling “because I feel like I just do enough of that when it comes to like writing my songs,” she says. She also loves “spa days because who doesn’t love a good spa?” she told Women’s Health.
Coffee
Nessa is a “coffee and conversation” kind of girl. She even goes to cafes for her dates, she told Vogue. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.
Avoiding Social Media
Nessa tries to stay away from social media. “Since I’ve gotten into self care, I feel like the biggest change and the most helpful thing that I’ve done has been no social media,” she told Vogue. “Being a young girl, social media is kind of like a big thing and I grew up on it, and so it was hard for me to admit that it was something that I needed to let go of, but once I did, my life changed.”
