Despite Katy’s busy schedule, she’s making time for herself. On one of her days off, Katy decided to hit the beach. She was seen wearing a black bikini with white straps, her amazing abs on display. How does Katy Perry look decades younger? Here are 5 of her secrets.
She Loves Hard Boiled Eggs

Katy loves eating hard boiled eggs, and she’s seen enjoying them in this Instagram video. According to Keck Medicine of USC, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “Getting enough protein in our diets is an important way of helping our body’s health. Each egg contains about six grams of protein, as well as helpful amino acids. Getting our share of protein for the day can help with weight management, increase muscle mass, lower blood pressure and help our bones, as well.”
She Drinks Water First Thing In The Morning

Katy shared some of her wellness and weight loss secrets with Women’s Health. She says that she likes to drink water first thing in the morning. “That is the best way to start, is just to drink water,” Katy says. “I know it’s such a cliché, but I think a lot of us go straight to the coffee without just drinking a glass of water.”
She Practices Gratitude

Katy is open about her struggles with her mental health. One thing that has helped her is practicing gratitude. Katy tells Women’s Health that she makes sure to do this each day in the mornings.”I always start my morning out with a mantra of gratitude, even if I’m in a cranky mood because I didn’t get enough sleep,” she said.
She Loves CorePower Yoga Classes

Katy has been trying new forms of exercise to keep herself in shape. She revealed to Women’s Health that she recently went to a CorePower Yoga class with her friends, and she saw results. “I sweated the most I’ve ever sweat,” she says. “We were all texting afterwards and I was like, ‘My mood is unusually happy right now.'”
She Eats Dinner Earlier

One thing that has helped Katy lose weight is eating dinner at an earlier time. “I’ve started eating earlier, which everybody swears by, but that’s only because my daughter eats earlier, which is great,” she says to Women’s Health. “I used to go to dinner at eight o’clock and anyone that tries to make [a] reservation at eight o’clock, I’m like, ‘I’m out,’ it’s too much.”
