Venus Williams In Silver Swimsuit Is “Timeless” For Sports Illustrated

Venus Williams is one of the best tennis players of all time. She’s also known for her amazing fashion choices. Venus may be in her 40’s, but she looks ageless, and has an amazing figure. Recently, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit shared some photos of a shoot they did with the tennis champ. In it, Venus wore a silver halter swimsuit, her amazing figure on display. SI Swim captioned the post, “Venus Williams has always been timeless. Now, she’s proving it again.” How does Venus Williams keep her swimsuit body in shape? Here are 5 of her secrets.
She’s Consistent With Her Exercise
Venus shared some of her fitness secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she makes sure to be consistent with her fitness regime. “I hold myself to a high standard on all fronts,” Venus explains. “And I know the level of consistency and effort that goes into getting results.”
She Does A Combination Of Weights & Cardio
Tennis isn’t the only thing that Venus does to keep herself in shape. She likes to do a combination of weight training and cardio. Venus talked about this in her Women’s Health interview. “I’m either on the court getting as many reps in as possible for cardio, in the gym doing strength work, or recovering and trying to get my body to the best place possible.”
She Sets Goals
One thing Venus does to keep herself consistent and to push herself with fitness, is set goals. She tells Women’s Health that she makes sure that the goals she sets are realistic. “Everybody is different when it comes to exercise,” she says. “The most important thing is to listen to your body, stay consistent, and set realistic goals.”
She Loves Dates
When it comes to her diet, Venus mostly eats vegan. She shared some of her favorite foods in another interview with Women’s Health. One of her favorite fruits are dates, and she likes using them in smoothies. “I just throw in a few dates for sweetness, so you don’t have to add sugar,” she explains. “The dates have fiber in them, so they’re just a healthy, filling sweetener.”
She Makes Homemade Dressing
Venus loves eating salads, but she makes sure to skip the fatty packaged dressings. Instead, she makes her own. “Lately, I’ve started making my own dressing,” she says in her Women’s Health interview. “I made a vegan butter, and ranch buttermilk dressing. It’s just so fresh, and it’s so quick. The longest it takes [is the time] it takes to chop the vegetables.”
