Nikki Tamboli in Bikini Is “Sexyy”

Here are her diet and fitness habits

Nikki Tamboli is showing off her gorgeous figure in a bikini. In a new social media post, the Indian actress flaunts her physique in a bathing suit top during a “Dubai Summer,” she added in the caption. “Sexyy,” commented one of her followers. How does the star approach health and wellness? Here are her diet and fitness habits.

1

Strength Training

Nikki never skips the gym. “Fitness for me is like oxygen, a necessity. It gives me mental peace,” she revealed, per Koimoi. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and build lean muscle mass, and increase calorie burn. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills
2

Small, Frequent Meals

Nikki sticks to eating small, healthy meals per day instead of larger infrequent meals. “I believe that for healthy functioning of the body one needs to take a proper balanced diet of 5 to 6 small meals rather than eating 3 big meals in a day,” she said.

Green Tea

Nikki is a tea drinker. “Having green tea right before bed is one habit I swear by. It gives me the detox I need after an entire day,” Nikki revealed about one of her favorite drinks. Numerous studies have shown that various teas may boost your immune system, fight inflammation, and even prevent cancer and heart disease.

4

Yoga

One of Nikki’s favorite workouts is yoga. “Happiness comes from within, not from men…” she captioned a photo of herself in a post. There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) than those who did not. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

5

Healthy Eating

Nikki maintains a healthy diet. She tries to eat a lot of protein and fresh produce. She also avoids junk food and prefers home-cooked meals to eating in restaurants. “It’s about maintaining a proper balanced nutritious diet. Being fit is not just about how the body looks but how well and healthy it is even from within,” she said. “Also, I travel with my own set of foods and healthy juice that I prepare at home. That way I don’t get tempted by outside junk or ready-sugar drinks. It has all the goodness of lime, guava, carrots, and a hint of mint.”
