Eva Longoria In Black Bikini Enjoys “Summer”

Eva Longoria had a great summer. Don’t believe her? Just take one look at a recent Instagram post of hers. Eva shared some highlights of the past few weeks, which include, spending time by the lake with her family, and cooking. Eva captioned the post, “Summer.” She is also seen in a black bikini, showcasing her amazing legs and abs. How does Eva Longoria look so good? Here are 5 of her secrets.
She Swims

In her Instagram post, Eva and her son are seen going for a swim in a lake. Swimming is a great way to stay in shape. Better Health reports, “Swimming is a good all-round activity because it:
- keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body
- builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness
- helps you maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs
- tones muscles and builds strength
- provides an all-over body workout, as nearly all of your muscles are used during swimming.”
She Loves Cherries

Eva makes sure to eat a healthy diet. In her Instagram post, Eva is seen enjoying a bowl of ripe cherries. According to The Cleveland Clinic, cherries are extremely healthy. “The fruit is low on the glycemic index. Cherries also contain fiber from their skin, which makes them raise blood sugars slower, as long as they’re not canned in syrup. This makes cherries a perfect treat for people with diabetes.”
She Cooks

Another way Eva ensures she eats healthy is by cooking. She tells Bon Appetit that she loves cooking Mexican food for her family. “During the week, I’m making protein bowls with meat, beans, avocado, some lettuce and tomato. Or I’ll make a tostada with refried beans on the bottom, add some cheese, meat, some toppings and sour cream. That’ll be dinner. I also buy two big rotisserie chickens, debone them into a Ziploc bag, and during the week I’ll make flautas or chicken tacos.”
She Makes Healthy Choices

Eva shared some of her wellness secrets with ELLE Magazine. She says that she makes sure that she’s making good choices each day. “There’s no diet and exercise program that really can save anybody. It’s a lifestyle choice. You have to live your life in a healthy way. And for me, working out is my mental health.”
She Works Out In The Morning

Eva makes sure to workout on a regular basis. One way she does so is by getting it done first thing in the morning. “Wake up an hour earlier and go to the gym,” Eva says to ELLE Magazine. “I promise you’re gonna have way more time during the day because it just energizes you and your brain in a very different way than if you don’t.”
