Paulina Porizkova In Leopard Bikini Supports Her Dear Friend

Paulina Porizkova isn’t just a legendary supermodel, she’s also a great friend. One of her closest friends named Mistie, is battling cancer, and Paulina decided to support her on Instagram. She shared a photo of the two of them on the beach. Mistie wore a leopard print cover up, and Paulina wore a matching bikini. She captioned the post, “Mistie and I ( and Jeff and Todd) were ready to party- Until we found out – during a CT scan she was having so she could join a Cleveland Clinic study – that the cancer is now in her brain. And that disqualifies her from the study. We were going to go and party in New Orleans this coming weekend — but instead, she will go and have radiation. She’s still fighting. But for those of you who have followed her journey- now is a good time to send her some extra love. @mistie_loves_louis_v and a shout out to the best husband in the world Todd, @outoad53 , who never waivers in his support and love for her. ❤️” Here are 5 ways Paulina Porizkova keeps herself fit.
She Strength Trains
Paulina talked about changes she’s made to her fitness routine in the caption of this Instagram post. In it, she revealed that she is focusing on strength training. “I’ve had to cut down on my Pilates since I came back for the jungle shooting #beyondtheedge because my hips won’t cooperate. What I’m doing instead, for now, is some serious PT. I found an amazing personal trainer at my local Crunch, Shelly, who alternates hip PT with strength training.”
She Doesn’t Restrict Herself

When it comes to her diet, Paulina tells New Beauty that she doesn’t restrict herself. “I do the 16/8 diet, which just means that you don’t eat for 16 hours and then you eat for eight,” she says. “I generally take it as I eat whatever I want for eight hours because I like food. I tend to like healthier foods, but if I eat a fried chicken, I eat a fried chicken—it’s just the way it is.”
She Does The 16/8 Diet

Paulina explained what the 16/8 diet plan is in her New Beauty interview. “If you eat dinner, say, at 10 at night, then you just eat 16 hours after 10 p.m., so it’s actually really easy,” she says. “I did get hungry when I first started doing this diet—I kind of obsess about food—but then it sort-of evens out and now I don’t even think about it. In fact, I’m not even hungry until 16 hours later when I do get hungry.”
She Uses A Meal Delivery Service

To help her eat healthy, Paulina uses the delivery service, Splendid Spoon. She tells New Beauty that she loves their smoothies. “They have all different flavors, this specific one is blackberry basil. They also have these soups or noodles or rice, too—they have a whole bunch of stuff. It’s all vegan, it’s really good for you. It’s very healthy and I do this so I can go out to dinner and have whatever I want.”
She’s Comfortable With Herself

In her workout Instagram post’s caption, Paulina talked about her journey to finding self-love. “I may not be as strong or as supple or as smooth as in my youth, but I am comfortable with my vulnerabilities, conscious of my weaknesses, proud of my strengths – and best of all, have the wisdom to put it all together and delight in the results.”
