Julianne Hough In Bikini Has “Fun Moment” In Barbados

The Dancing With The Stars Host wore a pale orange suit and went swimming.

While a new season of Dancing With The Stars just premiered, that doesn’t mean host and former pro, Julianne Hough, is too busy for a vacation. Recently, she took a trip to Barbados with friends. Julianne made sure to hit the beach, and she wore a pale orange bikini to go. She shared highlights from the trip on Instagram, captioning it, “A fun moment of pause to explore, surf, and soak in time with friends. Until next time, Barbados.” Here are 5 secrets behind Julianne Hough’s bikini body.

1

She Eats Healthy Fats

Julianne shared some of her go-to healthy foods with EatingWell. “I’m definitely a person that loves good fats, so sometimes I’ll do avocado and a little olive oil and salt. That’s a good snack for anti-inflammatory needs. Sometimes I’ll do a piece of fruit midmorning as a snack.”

2

She Eats Enough Protein

Another big part of Julianne’s diet is getting enough protein in. She talked about this with EatingWell. “Protein for me is honestly key. I work out, I dance, I’m active, so that’s definitely a need for me for my recovery. But for anybody, it’s what we need in our daily diet. Other things that I like to eat that are high in protein are salmon or chicken, well-sourced. And I’ll pair that with some Japanese sweet potatoes, asparagus or sometimes I’ll do cauliflower.”

3

She Prioritizes Recovery

Julianne tells EatingWell that she loves going in ice baths, saunas, and cold plunges to help her body recover from activity. “If I would have been doing cold plunges and ice baths and saunas earlier on in my life, I think my body would have been even better. Since I’ve started, I feel more healthy and vibrant now than I even did in my mid-20s when I wasn’t doing it.”

4

She Gets Enough Sleep

One of Julianne’s most important wellness secrets is getting enough sleep. She talked about how she does so in an interview with Shape Magazine, as reported by People. “I’ve started forcing myself to go to bed earlier, because if I don’t get enough sleep, I’m miserable. I get cloudy, my eyes hurt, and I have to take a nap. But when I’m well-rested, I am rockin’!”

5

She Walks Everyday

Julianne goes on regular walks to keep herself in shape. She tells Byrdie that her pup helps her do so. “I take my dog Sunny on my morning loop walk, which is amazing. I meet all my neighbors and chat. It’s more than just a walk; it’s all about the connection with my neighbors as well.”
