Amanda won the Featherweight Championship and won the Bantamweight Championship twice. In 2022, she was ranked at number 1 in the UFC women’s division. Since she’s a professional athlete, Amanda has to keep herself in shape at all times. And from the look at her Instagram, whatever she does is paying off. She Swims

Amanda spends a lot of time outside. One thing she loves doing is going swimming. Amanda shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself in the water. She posted this photo of herself and a friend in the pool while on vacation. Amanda also shared this photo of herself in a pool for the 4th of July. According to Better Health, swimming is a great way to stay in shape. “Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water. Swimming is a good all-round activity because it: keeps your heart rate up but takes some of the impact stress off your body, builds endurance, muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness, helps you maintain a healthy weight, healthy heart and lungs.”

Another outdoor activity that Amanda does to keep herself in shape is going on hikes. Amanda loves hiking with her family. She shared these highlights on Instagram of a camping trip she took with her loved ones. In one video, she is seen hiking on a trail. Amanda captioned the post, “Devil’s Den Florida.” According to The Cleveland Clinic, hiking has a lot of benefits. “In addition to being a good form of exercise, walking through nature comes with other health benefits like lowering your blood pressure, improving sleep and reducing depression and anxiety.”

Another outdoor workout that Amanda likes to do is ride horses. She shared this set of photos and videos on Instagram of herself and some friends going riding. Amanda captioned the post, “🐎 It was too good 🐎 This is my life 🐎 ” According to a study from Texas A&M, horseback riding is a great form of exercise. “Dr. Dennis Sigler, a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service horse specialist and professor in the department of animal science at Texas A&M University in College Station, and graduate student Colleen O’Reilly, teamed with three other researchers to explore the amount of energy expended during high-intensity horse riding activity. ‘We all know riding horses is good exercise,’ Sigler said. ‘Riding a horse for 45 minutes at a walk, trot and canter can burn up to 200 calories. It you do something a bit more strenuous such as cutting or reining, that can come out to nearly seven calories per minute for the entire length of the riding period.'”

She Lifts Weights

Amanda has amazing muscles, so you wouldn’t be surprised to hear that weightlifting is one of her go-to workouts. She shares a lot of videos on Instagram of herself strength training. In this video, Amanda is seen doing a press with a large barbell. She captioned it, “Yesssssss🤣 form is everything.” And in this one, she’s seen doing presses with a squat. Amanda captioned that video, “Warm up.”
