Eva Longoria Shares the Workout Keeping Her Fit Over 50

Eva Longoria has worked to build up her career as a respected actress and entrepreneur in the industry, starting with her role in The Young and the Restless, moving into her well-known role with Desperate Housewives. Just like her career, she builds her strength mentally and physically, staying on top of her health. Here are five things Eva does to keep herself fit and strong.
She’s thankful
She makes it a point to prioritize her mental health, taking moments to be thankful for what she has. “People, places and things I’m thankful for🤎 Also, especially thankful for the resilient farm workers who pick our food every day and the many members of our community who fight hard to protect our most vulnerable,” she said on Instagram.
She plays tennis

In multiple videos on Instagram, Eva is hitting the court, prioritizing tennis as one of her go to ways to stay active. “@evalongoria and @amaurynolasco join our general manager Gonzalo Rodriguez on our new glass padel courts, where every rally captures the Mediterranean spirit of our Marbella resort,” Puente Romano Marbella said on Instagram.
She eats veggies

She eats her vegetables, especially when it comes to fresh, ripe tomatoes. “You guys, this tomato carpaccio came out 👌🏽 must try,” she said on Instagram. She even cooks fresh batches of sauce with them, as shown on Instagram. “LETS MAKE BOLOGNESE🍅 I love making things from scratch and what better day to make that Sunday sauce! Y’all, it was soo good and had everyone coming back for seconds.”
She indulges

When she travels, she makes the most of it by trying the local cuisine and treats, not depriving herself of exploring a new country through food. “First stop:Barcelona/Catalonia📍 #SearchingForSpain premieres tonight,” she said on Instagram on photos of her enjoying wine, ham, olives, and other delicacies. Even the occasional glass of vermut.
She builds healthy habits
Eva works hard to build healthy wellness habits, keeping her mental and physical health a top priority. “Habit is what keeps you going 💪🏽 Let’s goooo,” she said on Instagram. According to Northwestern Medicine, “a healthy daily routine doesn’t need to be perfect. It should be simple, flexible and realistic. By starting with small healthy habits, you can build a daily routine that supports energy, focus and mental health.”
