  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

She recently added to InStyle that she has upped her game over the years. "In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now," she told InStyle. "It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter. And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. I do it more for my health than I do for looks, which is funny. When you do things for the right reasons, you actually look better!" And, she days off are rare. "Very rarely will I skip my workout," she told Us Weekly. "Sometimes, I work too late the night before, and I'm like, 'Ugh, I can't do this.' But I tell myself, 'Just do it. It's only an hour.' It's just talking yourself off the ledge of being a lazy bum."

2. Camila Cabello: Love Yourself the Way You Are

Camila Cabello is a true body confidence role model, using her social media accounts to speak out against body shamers and promoting self love. "I'm writing this for girls like my little sister who are growing up on social media," she wrote in a 2019 Instagram story. "They're constantly seeing photoshopped, edited pictures and thinking that's reality, and everyone's eyes get used to seeing airbrushed skin, and suddenly they think THAT'S the norm. It isn't. It's fake. AND FAKE IS BECOMING THE NEW REAL." She added that "a completely unrealistic view of a woman's body," is promoted. "Girls, cellulite is normal. Fat is normal. It's beautiful and natural."

3. Jessica Alba: Wellness Is What Makes You Feel Good

“Wellness is all about checking in,” Jessica Alba told Health. “Some days I just need to go in my room and read a book for an hour and put a face mask on. Other days I need to wake up at 5:15 a.m. and get a spin class in to feel good—even though I hate waking up early. I’ve tried to get into TM, a type of meditation, but it felt so hard-core. Wellness should feel like something I want to do. If I’m going to do a meditation, I like to do a guided one, and there are apps for that.”

4. Camila Mendes: Self-Care Is Crucial

Riverdale star Camila Mendes is a huge proponent of self-care. “For me, it's taking care of myself in the most immediate way. What do I need—and what does my body need right now?” she explained to Health in 2020. “Sometimes I'll randomly sit down and check in and be like: ‘What does my body want? Do I need water, sleep, or to move around and stretch? Should I journal?’ I think being well is about checking in with your physical and mental health and evaluating what you really need at that moment.”

5. Shakira: Turn Off Your Phone

6. Eva Longoria: Skinny Is Not Healthy

Eva Longoria once confessed to Health that when she was her skinniest, she was also the unhealthiest. “I try to have a healthy outlook. I'm your everlasting, hopeless optimist!” she said. "I don’t feel like we should go by these rules and social constructs of society where you have to be a certain size to be pretty," she added to Health in 2017.

7. Sofia Vergara: Exercise to Eat

According to Sofia, working out is "like torture” for her,” she confessed to Women’s Health. "I'm in a bad mood two hours before, I'm in a bad mood while I'm doing it, I'm in a bad mood at the end because I have to schedule the next class.” However, the thought of food keeps her going. "I heard about someone in L.A. who got hypnotized so they wouldn't eat candy," she told Shape. "I'm seriously looking into that because I'm obsessed. When I do indulge, I exercise a bit harder the next day. My workout motto is really simple: No pain, no cake!"

8. Salma Hayek: Has a Unique Approach to Exercise

Kering Women In Motion Awards Photocall - The 74th Annual Cannes Film FestivalDaniele Venturelli/Getty Images

"Some people have the discipline to exercise in the morning, and I didn't develop that," Salma told People, revealing her unique workout method. "I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles," she continued. "It's restorative yoga. She taught me how to tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you're aware of your body, you'd be surprised by the effect it can have."

9. Selena Gomez: Prioritize Your Mental Health

Selana Gomez has been incredibly candid about her mental health struggles, inspiring so many fans to put theirs first. ”I feel great, yeah,” she told NPR in January 2020 when asked about her anxiety. “I'm on the proper medication that I need to be on, even as far as my mental health. I fully believe in just making sure you check in with your doctors or therapist. [Taking care of mental health — ] that's forever. That's something I will have to continue to work on. Yes, I don't think I just magically feel better. I have days where it is hard for me to get out of bed, or I have major anxiety attacks. All of that still happens.”

10. Demi Lovato: Celebrate Your Body

2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards – ArrivalsEmma McIntyre/Getty Images

Demi Lovato has struggled with body confidence issues and become one of the most influential role models on social media "I'm not naturally super thin. I have an athletic body. I just have to embrace that. There are days when it's hard to, but more and more, there are days where I'm actually proud of my body,” Demi previously told Complex. Earlier this year she celebrated a major win, stripping down for a sexy scene in a movie. “Had to film a sex scene today. My first one!” Demi wrote alongside a recent photo, wearing black lingerie. “I had a little anxiety going into it but the cast and crew were so professional and easy to work with, it calmed me down immediately. Then, I thought about how proud I am for being able to feel comfortable enough in my skin to do that. I rarely ever showed my arms before.. now I’m in this!! (Granted, it barely shows anything BUT STILL) I don’t always feel good in my skin, so when I do, AND I feel sexy enough to post - I do just that! It’s important to celebrate the little wins. Yay for this random burst of body confidence and yay for awkward hilarious sex.”

Christina Aguilera has been a pop-culture icon for decades. She started out as a child, appearing on Star Search and The Mickey Mouse Club. She then launched her music career in the late ‘90s, releasing her debut single, “Genie In A Bottle.” Aguilera would then release hit songs like, “Beautiful,” “Ain’t No Other Man,” and “Come On Over (All I Want Is You).” Aguilera has also appeared as a coach on The Voice and in the film Burlesque alongside Cher. (She also lost a reported 40 pounds.) How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 7 ways Christina Aguilera stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Avoids Plastic Surgery

Aguilera looks amazing, and she tells People that it's all natural. Aguilera says that she avoids Botox and other surgeries. "We like expression, especially in my line of work," she explained. "I don't want to have a frozen face. Whether it's being on-camera or performing onstage, I have to stay authentic to my emotion."

2. She’s Self-Assured

Aguilera tells People that she’s comfortable with herself, and that she’s actively built this confidence. "I've seen myself go through different stages of my life and complain about certain things. As I've gotten older, I look back, and I'm like, 'God, every stage is a new era.' I'm really into feeling more self-assured as you get older. That's the thing to truly embrace. It's harmful when [aging] becomes an obsession.”

3. She Keeps Her Skincare Simple

Aguilera has amazing skin, and shared some of her secrets with Allure. She says that she likes to keep her routine simple. “I do not fuss with a 50-step beauty baloney routine. It's just not for me. For some people that might work, and they might like the experience of the whole thing. I'm a mama. I mean, I'd rather be in my bed on my time off playing Nintendo Switch.”

4. She Doesn’t Conform To Beauty Standards

9th Annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony - ArrivalsSteve Granitz/FilmMagic

Aguilera tells Allure that she is working on avoiding society’s beauty standards. “It's a lot of stigma, a lot of old-school behavior and ideals that women have to look a certain way and that it's shameful to get older. I've grown up in this business. I started performing at six or seven and then I broke when I was a teenager. No matter what you do, you're going to have people that hate on you. The bigger you are and the more successful, unfortunately, that comes with more hate or more scrutiny. And I'm a very sensitive person, but I'm also very tough at the end of the day.”

5. She Keeps Her Skin Moisturized

Young,Woman,Uses,Body,Care,CreamShutterstock

Aguilera’s biggest skincare secret is keeping her skin moisturized. She tells Marie Claire, “Sometimes I wash my face the first thing in the morning, sometimes I do not. But moisture is going on no matter what. My skin tends to naturally lean to the drier side—always has. And so depending on what climates I’m traveling to, or how many planes I’m on, it can be crazy dry.”

6. She Does Workouts She Enjoys

Aguilera shared some of her favorite workouts in her Marie Claire interview. She says that she doesn’t like to put pressure on herself when it comes to fitness, and that she does workouts she enjoys. “I like to do things that make me feel good mentally when I work out. I don't like to feel isolated or secluded. If I’m in front of a mirror doing weights, I feel like I'm in rehearsal and it's work. I like to get out of my head.”

7. She Does Outdoor Yoga

One of Aguilera’s favorite workouts to do to stay in shape is outdoor yoga. “I love fresh air, so I prefer hikes when I can get into nature,” she tells Marie Claire. “I love doing yoga outside. Yoga was a big game changer. My life has always been very fast paced and on the go, so yoga really allowed me to stop the clock and slow down mentally. It lets me breathe into my body, stretch, and get into stagnant energy.”

In one of her latest social media post the newly single Colombian actress shows off her incredible body and ageless beauty, lounging by the pool with her pals in a brightly hued bathing suit. “Que no se acabe el summer!” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps, which translates to “Don’t let the summer end.” How does the 51-year-old keep herself looking forever young? Here are some of her top beauty tips.

1. She Wears SPF

Vergara, who recently launched her Toty beauty line, stresses the importance of using SPF. Growing up in Colombia near the Caribbean sea, “The plan was always ‘go to the beach.’” But, she admits, “We did it the wrong way. We didn’t know about protecting ourselves — we [applied] coconut oil. It was like frying a chicken,” she told People. However, in the 1990s she learned about the importance of SPF. “It clicked in me,” she said.

2. She Spends 1.5 Hours Doing Her Makeup

Los,Angeles,-,Apr,04:,Sofia,Vergara,Arrives,For,TheShutterstock

Vergara admits she spends a lot of time getting gorgeous. “I wish I could tell you, ‘Oh I like it when I just wake up, and my hair is this.’ No! I like it when I’ve done an hour and a half of hair and makeup. More is more!” She added: “I’m always very put together. I’ve been doing my same makeup since I was 15. I’ve never really loved a lot of foundation or contouring, but I always have eyeliner on, and lashes and lipstick. Even in the morning I put it on. That’s my thing, and of course my sunscreen with the color.”

3. She Embraces Aging

Los,Angeles,-,Mar,2:,Sofia,Vergara,At,The,CarolShutterstock

Vergara also embraces aging. “I do see changes that I don’t like, but I try not to focus on them. I’m also now very grateful that I understood to use sun protection when I was younger, because I think that’s why I feel good now with the way I look. That’s what I tell my niece!”

4. She Eats Her Way to Great Skin

Sofia maintains that she relies on a beauty diet. "I eat a lot of vegetables, and I eat blueberries, and I drink green tea," she told Health. "I add a spoon of powdered collagen to chamomile tea at night—I don’t know what that does but I do it! And I try to drink lots of water." She called hydration "the most important part of any beauty routine," she added.

5. She Incorporates Oil

Oil is part of the star’s beauty routine. "After I wash at night, I’ve been using a calendula oil—it’s good for sensitive skin and has really been calming my skin. It’s really oily and nice, so I put it everywhere," Vergara told Health in 2018. She also revealed to Us in 2017 that she sleeps in saran wrap "and [applies] coconut oil everywhere.

She tells WhoWhatWear.com that she doesn’t use a lot of products on her skin, especially since she has sensitive skin. “I've developed rosacea. I've been struggling with that for six or seven years. It's hard because I get really red, so I've realized that I've had to treat my skin like sensitive skin, where I didn't before. I used to love products and would try anything. You name it—you tell me to put cement under my eyes, and I'd try it. But unfortunately, now all the fun is gone for me. I can't really wear rich moisturizers or rich oils. Now I have to keep it simple.”

3. She Makes Active Choices To Help Her Skin

In addition to what products she uses, Vergara also makes a lot of choices to help keep her skin clear. She tells WhoWhatWear.com, “I'm very religious about taking my makeup off every night. No sun. Take your makeup off.”

4. She Makes Healthy Breakfasts

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is 55 and turning 56 in February! Since soaring to fame in 1994, the Friends star has hardly aged in the three decades that have passed – and she has never been secretive about her devotion to health and wellness. Her hard work over the years has paid off through her strong and lean body and ageless looks. Here is everything you need to know about Jennifer Aniston’s approach to longevity.

She Maintains a High Protein Diet

"My nutrition is very much the same. It's usually a lot of high protein, vegetables, salads, soups,” she tells People. “I do 80/20. I give myself days where I can have whatever I want. I don’t deprive myself,” she added to TODAY. Why should you consider amping up your protein intake? According to clinical trials, consuming more protein than the recommended dietary allowance not only reduces body weight (BW) but also enhances body composition by decreasing fat mass while preserving fat-free mass (FFM) in both low-calorie and standard-calorie diets.

She Cheats on Occasion

Jennifer allows herself to indulge in “everything I would possibly want on a weekend,” she told People. Her cheat meal “depends,” she says. “I mean, dare I sound repetitive, but Mexican food is a real favorite of mine. It's not even that much of a cheat, to be honest. Or a cheeseburger or pizza or pasta — all that stuff.”

“My bigger challenge is sleep. I think that’s all part of our nutritional hygiene — the amount of water we get as well as the amount of sleep we get. It’s the combination of all of those things that make your workouts the most effective," she told TODAY.

“I’ve become gentler with myself,” she says of her approach to fitness, which has “definitely evolved” over the years. “I find that I can be gentler on my body and still get the benefits of a great workout,” she told Prevention. She specifically loves P.Volve workouts, a functional fitness that helps you “function throughout the day” and “work out your essential muscle groups to keep your body strong,” she says. “So you can live a long, healthy, strong life.”

Aniston prioritizes hydration, drinking a whopping 100 ounces of water per day. "But occasionally I just have to have a Diet Coke—there's nothing like it!" According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature regular, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

She Does Pilates, Spinning, Elliptical, and Running Workouts

“I had an injury last fall and I was only able to do Pilates, which I absolutely love. But I was missing that kind of sweat when you just go for it,” she recently told InStyle. “I'm going back to my 15-15-15, which is a 15-minute spin, elliptical, run. And then just old school: I can chase myself around a gym. I need some kind of movement, even if it's just 10 minutes a day on a trampoline.”

Massy Arias is a fitness expert and influencer. She advertised her coaching program in a recent Instagram video. In it, she is seen doing yoga poses and exercises with weights. Arias captioned the video, “You know I will take you there. This January 6th with me as your coach we begin your transformation.”

She Does Yoga

Arias is seen doing yoga poses in her Instagram video. Yoga doesn’t just have physical benefits, but mental ones. Harvard Health reports, “All exercise can boost your mood by lowering levels of stress hormones, increasing the production of feel-good chemicals known as endorphins, and bringing more oxygenated blood to your brain. But yoga may have additional benefits. It can affect mood by elevating levels of a brain chemical called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is associated with better mood and decreased anxiety. Meditation also reduces activity in the limbic system — the part of the brain dedicated to emotions. As your emotional reactivity diminishes, you have a more tempered response when faced with stressful situations.”

She Lifts Weights

Arias is also seen lifting weights in her Instagram video. Lifting weights has a lot of benefits. ACE Fitness reports, “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Works Her Core

Arias does a lot of core exercises to keep herself in shape. She shared some of her favorites in this Instagram video. Arias captioned it, “In this workout we are targeting foundational core strength, muscular endurance, and core strength/activation. The workout will leave you feeling amazing, mobile, and building real strength using your body weight all at home. The workout: there are 9 movements broken down into three circuits of three movements. You will perform each movement back to back with little to no rest in between (resting as needed to recover enough to do the circuit). You will perform all sets and move to the next circuit after each is completed.”

She Jumps Rope

Arias likes to jump rope to keep herself in shape. She shared this video on Instagram of herself jumping rope. Arias captioned the post, “12 years ago I chose a method considered 1.5 times more effective than counseling or medications for managing depression and anxiety. Today, I still apply it every day, and better yet, I teach it. If you are watching this today, this is your sign to take power into your own hands and move for your mental health.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

Arias shared this gym video on Instagram. In it, she and a friend are seen running on the treadmills. According to Healthy Talbot, using a treadmill has a lot of benefits. “Treadmill working is an aerobic/ cardio exercise. Studies demonstrate that aerobic exercise can minimize the risk of heart diseases. Moreover, they can strengthen your heart muscles. This helps to lower blood pressure and allows the heart to pump blood more efficiently. Most doctors recommend aerobic exercise to people suffering from cardiovascular diseases. Cardiovascular exercises control cholesterol levels in the blood, preventing artery blockage. They increase high-density lipoprotein and reduce low-density lipoprotein in the blood.”
